Hi! I have been machine quilting for several years and recently started hand quilting with a group from my church. Now I have volunteered to set together six embroidered blocks that have to be set together for the printed quilting design to work. However, I need the finished quilt to measure about 90 inches by 100 inches. Any ideas on how to add borders to get the width I need?
How big are the blocks? I assume that by the comment "set together" you mean that they must be sewn together so that they are touching. That is a lot of fabric to add IMHO as straight borders.
A Picture and sizes would be most helpful.
A quilt will warm the heart.
We need the size of the blocks and orientation. Can they be set on point? A picture would help a lot.
