Thanks for the warm welcome.
How's the weather in potato country? I'm live in the sunshine state (replanted here from Chicago 4 years ago).
Revkat is my email, which is a short version of Reverend Kathy...I'm a retired pastor. Have you posted any quilts in the gallery?
Thanks for your words of welcome.
Well, the quilts were truly beginner level...and most of them were cribsize. I did quite a few with my church group, But I discovered that I like the finishing parts as much as I like quilting the tops.
Have you posted any of your quilts in the gallery? And how do you format the text to make your signature so pretty?
Thanks for your words of welcome. I think I finish them because I like the finishing parts, too. And they are manageable enough to fit on my tabletop for sandwiching, etc.
I live in the sunshine state. How about you?
Thanks for your words of welcome. I was so busy quilting with my church group last fall, I never took time to take pictures of most of the quilts. I posted a few things in the gallery...I have a Christmas quilt top that I would say is my best effort so far. I'll post it in the gallery.
Pacific Northwest...Oregon or Washington? Lovely country. I live in the sunshine state. Heaven's waiting room.LOL
Thanks for your words of welcome. Yes, I guess I was a quilting fool this year. My projects were finished, but definitely in the beginner category.
I'm looking forward to attending some quilt shows. Living in sw Florida, there are always a lot of venues in season. I'm retired from ministry, living in Bonita Springs, and so happy to have discovered quilting in my out to pasture years!!!
I look forward to stitching together some great quilting friends from this forum.
Thanks for your words of welcome. And the early bd wishes.
Hope to make lots of new quilting buddies.
Thanks for your words of welcome. BRRRRR....I thought Chicago was cold, that's why we moved to the sunshine state 4 years ago.
I guess you need a lot of quilts up there to keep warm. Have you posted any quilts in the gallery?
Thanks for welcoming me aboard. My 25 quilts are definitely in the beginner category...and I quilted a lot of them with my church group. We donate them to the children's hospital. But my motto is...done is better than good.
Next 25 I'll concentrate on the 'good' part.
Your quilt avatar is lovely. You sound like a wise and seasoned quilter. I want to make a kingsize quilt for our bed, but selecting colors and pattern is overwhelming.
I'll be counting on support from my new quilting friends here on line,

I love the clergy stoll you made. By the way, you were asking if folks had posted pictures in their gallery? You can see anybody's gallery by clicking on their name and then click on View Gallery.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to my new QCA friendship threads!!
Thanks for your welcome. I'm looking forward to meeting new quilting friends.
Thanks for your welcome. I'm feeling right at home. (:
thanks for your welcome...hope to make lots of friends here at QCA.
I guess the QCA chatline is addictive as quilting...let's see, can I sew and type and the same time?????
I just got a new Tiara long arm quilting machine. I'm hoping I can gain the expertise to really put it to good use. I have three other BabyLocks. A serger, a 6 needle embroidery machine, and an Ellisimo,
Appreciate your kinds words about the stoll.
