Love this baseball quilt. Great Job.
Boy everyone has been busy the last couple of days. You all wore me out reading the posts.
I have been busy moving my sewing room out of the pantry and into the guest bedroom. I sold the queen set that was in there and got two futons for when and if I have guests.
Finished the blocks for the swaps I'm in.
Went and started putting in my flowers and boy i sure got it today when i asked for temp. over 70 were ove 90 at my house. Found out my DD is taking me out for a Mothers Day concert tomorrow Celtic Woman I'm so excited. I did have to give her the idea of coarse. Stopped at Joanne Fabric and picked up some picturesque Monet fabric today I'm thinking about a wide border quilt for it.
Quilting My Rainbow
Is, you're going to see Celtic Woman?? You lucky girl. Have a great time.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
WOW Is! You are one lucky Mom!!
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Wow Is, so lucky to get to go see Celtic Woman with your daughter. Enjoy it and the time with your daughter!. Ginny
I'm working on Christmas stockings for charity today. It's been fun getting in the holiday spirit for just one day. then I'll put that fabric back up and not get to it again for awhile.
Today is my DGD's 2nd birthday and she loved the baby doll clothes I made .... especially the diapers and the "wet wipes." She said, "WOW" when she opened the wipes that were made of flannel. I wonder how soon her mother will teach her how to put the wipes back in the little flannel box! LOL!
I had Quilt Guild this morning. The speaker was excellent. She spoke on "Blended Quilts" and gave a very interesting talk. Her quilts were really good also.
does anybody remember the name of the quilt that several made at Branson retreat, it used layer cakes. you cut a strip and sewed it diagonally between two HSTs, I think. can't remember what it was called, but know Darlene Twohorses made one, as well as Carol-Bridget and several others.
"I'm just a poor soul who's intentions are good. Oh, Lord, Please don't let me be misunderstood."
Debbie, It's called Criss Cross and you can find directions on YouTube.
We celebrated Sprout's 2nd birthday yesterday. His favorite toys?? Bossman's big belly ( mountain climbing it , using it for a great trampoline, and of course, snuggling on it when he'd had enough exercise) and the big box Grandma's gift came it. LOL He finger-painted with his cake frosting and generally had himself a grand time.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPROUT! Would love to see pics of him finger painting if possible. Where did 2 years go?????? God Bless him!
Went furniture shopping yesterday and bought two new recliners. Had to get DH a Big Man's since he keeps breaking the regular ones. They're supposed to be delivered on Monday, so will spend the weekend cleaning and rearranging the furniture. Hopefully, I'll have enough money next month to buy a love seat or a couple of casual chairs as we have no seating in this house at all, and no room for a sofa (could my sewing tables and sewing machines be taking up too much room?).
Today, the baby is back and has been cranky. Finally got her down for a nap, so I've managed to get 1/2 of one LUS block done...all "Y" seams again, yuck.
Had my new blinds installed andthe ones on my larger window are snug or tight when opening and closing they are vinyl has anyone ever experienced that with new blinds? Getting ready now for concert with DD just thought i'd check in here.
