Great job on the hearts Debbie! Love it.
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Went to an estate sale today and found a package of fat quarters with 7 in it for a dollar, big score. When I got them ready to take a picture to post I found out they are batik ,that is even better. Pretty purples and some blues.
What a deal, Weezee. Wish I could run into some deals like that. The fabric is beautiful and batiks are my favorite.
Can't wait to see with you do with those treasures Weezee!
Sprout has made it plain that after 2 days of Mommy being absent I am not going to get out of his sight today. He's making darn sure I remember that I have a little boy to take care of. When he's not climbing me, he's up to as much naughtiness as he can get into. So far he's destroyed his siblings room and dumped my coffee all over me and the newly cleaned carpets, emptied the refrigerator and stolen a 2 lb bag of raisons (how'd he ever even reach the cupboard they were in?) to spread all over the floor and try to feed the dog (Thank goodness she wasn't interested or we'd be headed to the vet right now!). He's only been up an hour...
Wow, sounds like fun in CC's house this morning. I am trying to be very, very quiet. I am babysitting the almost 3 mo GGS and once he wakes up, there will be no peace. He doesn't appreciate his Mom not being here when he wants to eat. Just doesn't like the bottle at all! He should be used to it by now, but nope-he wants what Mom gives him. Have an interesting day. Guess I don't need to send my 4 y/o GGS out to teach Sprout anything. Man, the 2 of them would really have you running from pillar to post. Ginny
Throw in my youngest grandson (20 mo. old) and there wouldn't be anything left standing in the house, LOL.
We can throw in my 12 month old DGS and they will have a ball - I am not letting mine read what CC's are doing....:)
DH finally took some time to put up shelves in my sewing room closet! So excited! Have 3-8 foot long shelves, plus the floor!!!! I will start to get those filled up soon! Gotta mow tomorrow. :-/ Oh well, at least the snow and rain have stopped! I really need to get DGS3's quilt going, but it is going to be tricky, something that takes a little more organization than what I am comfortable with. Oh well, it will be good for me! :-) Everyone have a terrific week!!!
I can follow the thread, but don't see where to add a reply to 'What are you up today?'
Obviously I have been browsing through a LOT of this website after renewing my membership which was like 5 years ago.
Read posts and replies, looked through the libraries of tutorial video's.
Looked at pictures of quilts from members.
All in all I gained a ton of inspiration.
Now to find time to go quilt for a few hours in my quilt room.
I'm currently working on a bargello quilt.
*** Tulpje ***
*Smile* can I add our 3 year old grand daughter?
*** Score *** Nice haul.
Got my fabric in from fabric.com. Guess I better read what type of material it is before I get it. Thought my blue fabric with white stars was cotton. Not it is chiffon. Went to Joann's and got regular cotton fabric.
Home to sleep in my own bed tonight. DD and SIL went to Orlando for a long weekend. They left Thursday night and came back around 7 tonight. The weekend was a busy one for the GKs, GD #1 had ballet class on Fri, pictures and dress rehearsal for her recital Sat morning. Her class is Cinderrella. Birthday party at Chucky Cheese, I gottta tell you that's a wild and crazy place. Sunday girl scout meeting lasted over two hours. I am one pooped Grandma!!
Bonita, you deserve a MEDAL! There's definitely a gold star in your crown. Dance Recital Rehearsals are the worst! LOL!
