Darlene:
I am so sick of being cold too.

You know, we have this wonderful quiet toasty new furnace, and now we're trying not to run it.  Randy ran to town to buy some space heaters today.  The price of propane has gone through the roof, so supplemental electric heat will be cheaper than running the furnace and/or the gas fireplace.  Headed back to the deep freeze again starting Saturday evening.  What a roller coaster this winter has been!

DH took me out for lunch for my birthday so I didn't have to cook today.  Then tomorrow we will go out for breakfast and a trip to Lowe's for a new kitchen faucet for my quilt studio sink.  We hate the one there and it's leaking.  I'm going to go do some sewing and relax the rest of the day.

My DH is in the kitchen putting together a stew in the crock pot.  After breakfast I will be working on more of my Dear Jane blocks.  I have never paper piecing or applique but I have signed up for some classes at Craftsy and am ready to go ahead.  Those triangles look scary too.  Can you tell I am just learning to work outside of my comfort zone, LOL.

Quilt, have fun, spend less time worrying if it is perfect.

What a great day in South Texas. Quilting in front of my open window watching the deer outside. Crazy as 48 hours ago, we were under freezing temps and all highways closed.

Michelle that is a beautiful sight wish I had one,  But let me ask everyone a question have you ever seen a long arm that has a feed dog, or are they just meant for free motion ?

I don't think long arms come with feed dogs. There would be no need for them.

I finished two and a half quilts on the longarm this week. Yeaaa me!!! I am feeling so good about my recovery and my production.

I thought they didn't but wasn't sure.  Glad about your recovery and quilt progress.  I've got my pattern pieces ready for applique wall quilt but i'm off to a slow start all the shoveling snow and just not sure of working with lame again.  I know once I start it will go by fast then i'm going to start a BOM kit thats been waiting a long time.  Everyone happy quilting.

Good morning everybody! My gosh, this is the first time i've been able to get on here in DAYS! So nice to see you're all still kicking.

I did a Hanna Barbara Banana Peal routine yesterday and managed to undo my spine, so it's gonna be a few days before I move  around much. Sure will feel good when it stops hurting. In the meantime I guess I'll pull out my GFG and work on it.

CC, same here!  I really thought it was probably a waste of time to even try, but did anyway...and surprise, I was able to sign in!  All weekend I could get to the sign-in screen on my home-page, see that people were posting, but then I would get the dreaded blue error message.  Sigh!

Glad to see everyone is checking back in!

Still cold and dry here in a grey and foggy Eastern Washington.  We may get a trace of snow over the next few days, but they're not expecting much.  And we really need whatever we can get!!!

Nancy, that really is a sorry state of affairs!  But at least you have a heated house now!!!
