Marie:
I'll be in Dunedin just NW, about 40 min., of Tampa airport.
Marie, My BIL lives near Tampa, its about a 3 1/2 hour drive from us, so it would not be to bad  a drive down to see you. How about a sleepover for us quilters  only . My DH says I need a girls weekend . I think Andrea lives around there. It would be great to all meet. Just an idea for you to think about. I still would like to meet you when were down that way. I have your cell # is it still the same?  PM me with your address so I can put it in my Garmin.    How are you getting here, flying or driving ?    Hope you have a safe trip!            Hugs,  Susan

Bonita, Ruby/Mitzi is a very pretty birdy and I'm sure she'll produce some yummy eggs for her family. Our girls all got frost bitten combs during the last cold snap and now they are sad sad hens. Poor Goldy Han  just isn't gonna look the same with out her long "bangs"...     But despite the disfiguring misfortune we still get a half doz eggs every day. The kids make sure that they get table scraps and goodies in return.

Goodness, CC, why aren't you knitting hats for those poor hens?

Thanks Dee-Duck, I might try the disappearing nine patch. I had never thought of that.  My nice to be was thinking something modern like the hexagon quilt from Jaybird designs. I was looking for something different so that might just be one .

Our multi-talented friend doesn't  know how to knit.........I can't hardly believe you don't know how to do everything!

By the way, I bet they have U-tube videos to learn that. Want me to send you some needles and yarn......I'm sure you've been looking for something to do in your Spare time ; )

tonight I am going to look for the Northern lights, if the sky clears up.  Supposed to be the best we have seen for a while, possibly visible as far south as Colorado.

Fooey, we're clouded over. I remember seeing the Northern Lights as a kid. My dad woke me up in the middle of the night and carried me outside to see them. I was pretty young but it made such a huge impression on me.

It is so nice to read all the posts. I don't post often, but every morning and night I read the posts on my email. It is such a pleasure. I am slowly getting to know you all and learning so much. Hopefully when I retire ( about 4 years) I will be able to go on retreats and join in more.

Glad to be in the house and not have to go anywhere, they are calling for freezing rain today.  Yuck.  So, I got up, made my Italian sauce, I use it on everything italian, pizza, lasagna, etc.  Then made 2 doz. meatballs, dishes done, laundry folded and put away.  Now I am trying to figure out what I want for breakfast.  Then I need to clean the bathrooms, swiffer floors and pick up the living room.  Tomorrow I am praying DH and I can get to putting down the tile in the master shower.  Think we have a good pattern so we will see.

Everyone have a great weekend!
