Wow.  This is neat, Michelle.  Love the boots!  And all those prairie points!?  Wow.  His classmates will be sending in orders as soon as they see it!  Good job, mom!

Karla, congrats on baby Kaylee!

Today we are  warming up to almost 40!  But then tomorrow they are talking freezing rain.  This weekend could be fun too, with some talk of a lot of snow!  We will see.

Get to bowl today, having goodies too.  At least I can bowl off the goodies?  Maybe . . .  :-)

Everyone have an awesome day!

Thanks! Has taken a long time for this one with all the embroidery on the blocks. Those are prairie points along the edges and a few in several of the blocks.  I am tacking them down at the points since this quilt is made to be used and washed!  I love my quilts used.  I didn't want them to catch and tear when in the washer.  So I'm handsewing the points down, then will put the top on the long arm. Hoping to get it on the machine by today or tomorrow so I have plenty of time to quilt it and bind.

I'm going to use the rest of the gift certificate hubby gave me in May for our Anniversary to get my nails done and then I'm going to get my hair done. I may even shave my legs...well...not sure about that one. The advantage to winter is to let the fur grow in, right? lol

Marie, he hasn't seen it yet. I'm finishing up the handwork on it today and trying to get on the long arm by afternoon.

Mary, have a wonderful relaxing day! I love my nail, pedi, hair day. My husband laughs when my Thursday appt comes around. He says nothing gets in the way. It's my one really good thing I do just for me.

Oh Mary, it is so good to hear the lilt in your cyber-voice.  You sound like yo are in a much better place right now.  We are always here to lean on if and when needed.  Yes, go get the works done today, you will feel even better for it.  Ask me how I know.  Well, last night my daughter and I were out doing some Christmas shopping which was to include a visit to the beauty supply shop.  Wouldn't you know, by the time we got out of J C Penney's the beauty supply was closed.  I NEED color. and a cut.   So you go get beautified for me too please.    Ginny

Just finished reading 10 pages of posts, I'm so far behind.  You gals are so busy and on top of things.  Very proud and envious of you.  LOL

I spent yesterday in PT, then at the shop with DGGD Miss Scarllette Anne, her mommy & daddy while they are putting the finishing touches on their new floral shop building, even took in my rocking chair, then in the evening went to my DGS's basketball games.  He plays both JV and Varsity ball.  Won one and lost the other, but he much better on the floor, showing some aggressiveness and great passes.

DGD is newly engaged and planning a summer wedding.  I have a quilt kit I bought a few years back for her wedding quilt.  I've got to get on it and in a hurry.

Hope this missive isn't too long & boring for all of you.  I just had to share.
