chocake2:The Dog has gas
Oh lordy CC, this is hilarious. Too bad you couldn't have gotten a video. If this has me in stitches, you have to be rolling on the floor.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Nancy, Thanks for the pictures! The snow is beautiful. We had high of over 70 degrees here in Raleigh today and lows in the 20's a week ago. I can't figure out what is going on with this weather. My poor hydrangea has buds all over it. Anyway, your snow is gorgeous and thanks for sharing.
CC, have any of the farts caught on fire?
Nancy, your pictures are beautiful, the bird bath looks like cake with white icing. I'm trying to channel some of the cold this way. I'm sitting here waiting for the AC guy to show up. It's over 80 degrees in the house and I it to be at least 75.
Well, got to go home early - closed libraries at 4 due to 1/4" of ice and snow on top. Had to wait 45 min for kids to get picked up, then drive home, fill up gas and drop stuff at DD2s. Almost by time I got home and DH had broccoli cheddar soup, salad and rolls done for supper. More snow expected tonight and schools already announced they will be closed. Hoping library will be, too.
"I'm just a poor soul who's intentions are good. Oh, Lord, Please don't let me be misunderstood."
CC, Brrrrrrrr . . . Nancy, that is beautiful snow you got up there! I don't think we are to get any of the white stuff yet . . . Sure would make this cold "worth" it if we had the snow to go along w/ it. The wind is the worst.
CC, you had me rolling with laughter with your dog fart story. Never a dull moment at your house!
Nancy, love your postcard pictures.

CC, our dogs should have a contest...lol! Tasha has located a dead dear nearby and keeping her away from it has proven to be a never ending challenge. Between the farting and stomach growls, she is keeping us up half the night too! You have to love them, but...
Great snow shots Nancy! Wish we had some of that for insulation for the plants. We're in the cold belt right now - not as cold as CC, but around zero for the rest of the week (with lower wind chills). We may finally get some real snow next week...Yippee!!!
I never knew heaters were made for birdbaths. Great winter snow pics I know its coming but I sure hope we don't get that much.
The tooting dog was great ya gotta love them but i think i'd get him to sleep in a barn or something.
I did make it out today and i'm hesitant to say I'm done shopping because each time I do I'm sure to find something else that someone would just love to have.
I still have two wall units too many in my house and i'm out of room in my garage, and DH wont let me donate them or give them away, but yet he says I'll figure out something to do with them. I'm almost ready to use them as quilt holder or cover them with a quilt.

MNNancy, you have a beautiful home.
CC your Dog is funny.
The holidays will soon be here. I guess I'll keep raking my brain on what to do with these cabinets, if I could only push my walls out that would really help. I sure want to get back to sewing its much more fun.
We are iced in, so only sewing, sleeping and watching movies will do. We won't be able to get out for at least two more days.
I have been working hard on trying to get the last three projects done. One I just started on yesterday and I worked on it today. I hate feeling rushed, but I want to get these all done and delivered by next Thursday.
We watched a beautiful movie on DVD this evening - Unfinished Song starring Vanessa Redgrave. Some might say it was too sentimental, but it spoke to me on several levels.
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
We're getting some snow again today...but thankfully not enough to snow us in. But they are promising more to come. We get one big one about every 5 years or so, so maybe this will be the year. Gosh, we really, really need the moisture to fill up the reservoirs again...it has been below normal the last 3 or 4 years.
