Keep up those descriptions, Kath, and I'm going to be knocking on your door in no time - begging to come sew in your new studio and watch the wildlife.

I'm lucky to have landed in such a nice studio and be able to enjoy the wildlife.

What I am doing today is shopping Craftsy classes which are half off today.  I'm interested to know if any of you have "Continuous Line Quilting with Ann Peterson or "Dot to Dot Quilting" with Angela Walters and could give me a recommendation on either?  Thanks.

I'm enrolled in both, Marie, but I haven't started either yet.  I'm going to look at "Dot to Dot" first because I think one of her designs is what I'd like to do on my MQ8.

I don't think so Kath.  Watch the retreats group though.

Thank you for posting help for NanTenn.

Hi Girls, haven't had much time to do anything but care give for my Grands and take care of my mom, but wanted to give you a quick update....Last time I was on, we thought Miss Camille was going to get a kidney from her Aunt, but in the last test ( a kidney function test), her aunt only had 76% and for a baby it had to be 85%...so she was ruled out as a donor...very sad and disappointing, at the same time Camille developed a pretty severe infection and we ended up back at the U of M for approx a week, she went on antiobiotics for a month and after 3 clear cultures...she was placed on the National Registry for deceased donors....and depending on where the kidney would come from depended on whether she would transplant in Michigan or Wisconsin. We received a call at 9:00 p.m. last night to get her up to the U of M immediately for testing and transplant....and she is in surgery receiving the gift of life as I write this....Can't tell you how overjoyed and grateful our family is ...and how appreciative we are that another family unselfishly decided that their loss should help others! Just had to share happy and blessed news :)!

Thoughts and prayers coming your way Beth! I too haven't been on in sometime, mainly I have been too tired..I think my work is trying to kill me. Last Sunday morning we lost another of our dogs, Miss Daisy, in November we learned she had congestive heart failure, we thought she had at least a year to live but her little heart could take no more. She was totally attached to my DH , who has taken this hard...so hard that he started to search the web sunday afternoon while I was at work. I am sitting in the break room eating my dinner and I get a text from him that starts with " Don't be mad at me but I...."   and yes he found a new puppy...in Oklahoma!!! She will be coming to live with us in about 3 weeks as she is now only 5 weeks old. She is a chocolate/ rust miniature pinscher and here she is....................
