After lots of planning and so many projects that filled my sewing room my DD is happily married to the man of her dreams.  I can finally get back to my mystery quilt and take back my sewing room.

As for daughters and there moms it is normal and after some ups and downs I can say my DD and I are great friends of course she is now 26, LOL.  Things do get better.

Quilt, have fun, spend less time worrying if it is perfect.

My youngest DD campaigned heavily for boarding school for grade 10. Some of her friends were going and she really wanted to go.  Until she got there.  And wanted to come home.  Wouldn't talk to me for six weeks.  I would have killed her if she had gone to school here at home  Now  knows that not talking to me was a blessing.  Hehehehe.

LOL Thanks Jan. God's gonna have his hands full, for sure. I'm gonna need every bit of strength he's given me! My dad used to tell me that DD was his best revenge. I do believe he wasn't joking.

I'm grumbling. got the latest Kindle Fire which I'm using for the post. I can't figure out the camera. All I get is the reverse mode. Know what a shock that is to be laying on the couch, double chin to your chest, hit the camera button and all you see are double chins. Instructions don't help as I don't have the icons they refer to.

I sure as heck am not interested in taking a photo of my face.

It's snowing today so I think it will be a sewing day.  Didn't get one thing done yesterday except the vacuuming, grocery shopping and a trip to TaeKwonDo.  Today I plan on being more productive.

I'll try, but the dogs have pretty much messed it up...they love playing in the snow and there's only been about an inch or so and lit looks like the sun is trying to break through now, so it will be gone shortly, probably.

Looking into the open dessert...our backyard.

Bailey and Kaci enjoying eating the snow and playing in it.  See the snow on Bailey's nose.  Remember, we have an annual precipitation total of about 4" so we get excited about every little bit we get.

Karla, Thanks for the pictures.  The dogs sure look happy!  We had loads of frost with a little added snow Wednesday - roads too warm to be slippery - but I looked like a moving ice castle going down the road.  Just had critical windows and windshield de-iced.

Judy, if you are talking about the Kindle HD I think it only has the front facing camera for use with Skype. I did read on line that there may be an app you can get from the Kindle APP Store that supposedly lets you take pictures but not sure if I would be worth the headache or frustration.

On the good side now you can use your kindle with skype for virtual retreats.
