So sorry to hear about your nephew. T & P goes out to him.
Thoughts and prayers being sent his way, Ginny.
I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my nephew. If I know him at all, he will succeed in walking again. If not, I know he will handle it with grace, but he is very, very determined. He is my hero! I do know that it has brought him back into a closer relationship with his Lord. Ginny
Prayers going up for your nephew, ginny!
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

Today I shall spend my day at a Mixed Martial Arts Tournament...my three oldest grandsons will be participating and I'm just praying that we will all come home without any serious injuries,
Today I am stitching out an in-the-hoop project for Bernina's Software Sampler class that I teach. I'm behind with this month's lesson and need to get the project finished, pictures taken, extra instructions written, supplies noted and sent out to my students!

Ginny thoughts and prayers on recovery for your family I haven't been on here much, but trying to catch up. After the circus next day found out a friend of DH and I left message on my recorder and I almost missed seeing our friend because I don't check messages everyday. Anyway this friend was passing through and we went and met up with him he is heading back home to germany. He came here trying to make it big in the musician business and after being here twenty years he's heading home. Then today usual stuff at my house I'm almost praying for snow tired of all the leaves clean up. Also during the last couple days found out my sisters husbands sister passed on. All I can say is life comes first then quilting for me right now.

Wow, IS, that sounds pretty special for your daughter to ask. I am overjoyed for you. I was just talking to my one daughter in Oregon and she says she is going to start sewing again. The layout in her refurbished apartment is much better and she feels up to trying again. Ginny
I just have to share. I finally finished piecing my flannel quilt, flannel brick road pattern from Fons and Porter's Dec. 2006. Took me four years. My quilter is going to personalize it with stitches of his interests like hobby trains, Bible and church as he was a Presbyterian minister, and cowboy boots as he grew up in Kansas. Dad saw me working on it and kept teasing he was going to die before I finished it. He will get it for Christmas :-) Happy dance.
Gee Is, I hope your friend is taking some good things back to Germany with him.. That is one place I would love to visit. All of my ancestors are from Germany 2 and 3 generations ago. Ginny
Oh I forgot to mention that I went to my favorite LQS today and came home loaded down/ I even found the Laurel Burch fabulous felines fabric that I have been looking for for over 2 years. I couldn't even find it online anymore. --and there were sitting 2 bolts of the very one I wanted. I hadn't seen it there before and yet the clerk says it has been sitting right there all this time. I may not have even looked for it there as it is not something in the realm of things that she carries now. Oh well, I feel very lucky--now to go pull fabric to go with it. Ginny
