Now Gini it wasn't quite 14 flights of stairs.....ROFLOL
LOL - I was trying to count the stairs after she said that. Well, there were the steps up from the beach to the deck, and then you guys were on the third floor, weren't you? I'll bet that felt like 14 flights if you went straight from the beach to your room!

I had a pretty cool day. Literally the wind was way up. I had to go into the valley and the wind was very bad there. I had two meetings for my new quilt shop. Things are going pretty smooth but probably won't be able to open until the spring. I still have to visit my son in Thailand. It's very scary for me to go to a different country or be in an airport in a different country. Anyway, I got home OK and now it's windy in the mountains. I am so excited about opening a shop in my little town.
Georgetown CA I'd Rather Be Quilting
HI all..very busy lately, but lurking when I could to keep up with everyone :) Mom is being kicked out of rehab on Sat...going to Sister's house till we can get phone, cable, and Internet reconnected, along with home health services! Camille gave us a big scare this past week with a peritoneal infection that docs were having a difficult time identifying and treating, dehyration and port that quit working ...12:30 am Sat drive to Ann Arbor Motts Children's Hospital....we were finally released yesterday...everything is now on the mend...just in time for our big fundraising benefit for Camille's transplant expenses...Hobo Dinner, Cornhole tournament, Silent Auction, 50/50 raffles and kids games....oh and celebrating our 29th Anniversary...it will be a fun filled weekend! I made a table runner to be put in my basket for the silent auction! will attach pics...Praying for all of you, and especially those having a rough go of it!!! Chin up, one foot in front of the other, with friends, family, faith, and God by our side, we will perservere!!!
There was a half flight and a landing, and. the stairs turned a corner in one spot so they weren't standard 10 foot ceilings. So maybe 13 1/2 flights

Sounds like you've been on a roller coaster lately, Beth. Praying everything settles down for you. What a cutie in the picture.
Beth, Glad to hear that Camille is doing better after the run To AA. Good to hear Mom is coming home also. Your table runner is really cute.--and Ghrardelli chocolate in the basket? Yum. Have a great fund raiser. Ginny
Oh, I forgot the other good news! My sister in law to be...(our living donor) for Camille's kidney has one more test to pass and we will be on our way to transplant in Wisconsin!! Hopefully within a month or two!!! I just make sure my seatbelt is fastened at all times for this ride :!!! (Can you tell I only live a half an hour away from Cedar Point Amusement Park???) Good thing rollercoasters dont' scare me too much!
Prayers for Camille. She's a cutie!
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Beth, praying for you, mother, Camille and the rest of the family. Hope the benefit goes well.
Peritoneal infections can be nasty. Hope all continues well towards the transplant.
Prayers for Camille and all of you as you go through these ordeals.
Having one of those hard to sleep nights as DH is snoring away. Earlier today I was cleaning a mirror in my house and out jumped a spider I sprayed him he fell to the floor and i stomped so hard i now have a limp and a tender ankle. You all know the story of the elephant who is afraid of the mouse...
Quilting My Rainbow
I hear you, Is. I don't "do" spiders either.
IS when you are done with your fall cleaning, you can come and help me with mine...once I'm started I'm good, but boy-o-boy, it is that first step! I guess I should do one room per weekend and I would be done by Christmas... I would rather quilt though.
