All right ladies, help me come up with other suggestions for replacing that awfulsong on his phone.   so far other options include "She works hard for the money " and "Lawyers Guns and Money". Surely you all can come up with other ideas.

Well, my daughter had her plane tickets for Israel.  She leaves October 1.   Round trip tickets were cheaper than one-way, so she has a ticket to come home during Passover break.   She has never been away from home for so long.  I hope she only ends up going to school there for one year.  I am going to miss her so much.  I feel like crying every time I think about it.

Patty, you have my empathy. It's hard to have them out of reach. My son spent a summer in Thailand once and we wound up communicating via email at his midnight and my noon much hour. If you both have a cell phone with APPS, check out the VIBER app. It allows FREE texting internationally. My sister just returned from a 2 week trip to Europe and we were able to communicate with her via the APP.

Today is Day 2 of completing my sewing room. I can see now, I've got to get rid of some things. But it's fun trying to figure it out. We put up a big cork bulletin board for me to use as a design wall.... lots of shelves ... a desk for my computer .... and shelves and hanging rod in the closet. ... I'm still not sure where to put it all. ... I'll still have to have some slat wall installed to hold my rulers. ... Fun! Fun!

Just getting ready for the drive to Elko for the football game...they're predicting thunderstorms, so had to add the large umbrella to the things I'm going to take with me.  I almost froze last time at Tahoe, so I've also added a heavy hooded sweatshirt to the mix.  Last week I went in shorts and a t-shirt, but I've learned my lesson.  I had forgotten how cold it can get at those evening football games.

Roxana your quilting room sounds nice.  Do we get to see any photos?  Today I went to my 1st quilt guild meeting.  They had a couple from Pa. that did a chat & show on antique quilts.  Oh my some of the beautiful quilts   They also had a bunch of sack/feed cloths to show.  It was all so interesting.  I almost didn't go but sure happy that I did.  I also joined the guild.  Between that and QCA I should learn some tricks for quilting.
