Probably not, Nana.  I know that I used to do all nighters at the local casino (they pay better in the middle of the night), then I would have to take at least a 4 hour nap when I got home.  It would take me several days to get my energy back.  I haven't done one in a long time now....well at least 2 months.

Jacy, you can't be old enough to be a Grandma, because If you are, then I am! And we can't have that! LOL  I can't tell you how often folks assume that I am Sprout's doting Granny. Funny how seldom the assume his father is his Grandpa, tho.... Go figure.

Jacy, I am guessing you are somewhere in my age range to have a 24 year old. My oldest is 23. And I was 3 years younger when I had her. I have 2 trailing right behind at 21 and 15.  I am guessing I will not be far behind you here shortly. Tho Since I have been on some new meds for my HM I have gained a little weight at someone did ask me when I was expecting. I was not sure how to feel, but I am glad I looked young enough to pass to for a younger mom. Now a weight program LOL.   Congrats on the Kids. They look so great together.  It is always good to hear good news!

I went bought new glasses today highway robbery I call it even with insurance, but what ya gonna do when ya want to see.

Then I stopped by this yard sale I came across a quilt that was in progress.  I probably can't save it as it has rust spots from pins that have been in it for long time but i'm hoping i can it was all hand sewn multi fabrics in a blossom dresden design.  I have it outside now airing out a little musty but no mildew.  If I cant save it I can make the pattern to make a replica.  Its all done with fabric that looks quite old to me.

Is

Here is a link with info on removing rust stains from fabric.  And it shouldn't hurt the quilt top.

Welcome back CC. Bet Sprout had grown quite  a bit since we last saw him. How about an updated pic?

No pics on this puter yet, Linda, but Dh promised he'd help me with that on his days off, so hopefully you'll all get to see Sprout's grin again soon. He's a busy little monkey, tis fer sure! Jenni dog has an old broom handle that she treasures. It's cut down to about 14" long so she can pack it around and chew on it easily. Today, Sprout took it out of her toy box and was toodling off across the yard with it. Jen let out a worried little woof and ran to get her stick. Sprout wasn't about to let go, so there they were, each of them holding onto one end of that old broom, going around and around, first one direction, then the other in big circles on the back lawn. They looked for all the world like they were doing a bizarre fandango!

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

CC, do you have a video camera???  Jenni and Sprout dancing the fandango could go viral on YouTube!

CC

I can picture Sprout and Jenni doing the round and round dance now.   Did either one of them get dizzy and fall over?

Looks like my posts tonight aren't making as we have a storm going on, but tanks for suggestion on removing rust.

Would have loved to see that one!

I agree, CC has a knack for turning everyday life into an entertaining story.

I've been not feeling great with sinus problems, I sent my DH to the high school to sign forms and get the kids schedules. Well he was great, he went after work and did that, but for only ONE kid, we have 2 high schoolers this year.........now CC would have spun a story like that into a wonderful tale!
