Well, I finally got my butt in gear and made those four pillowcases today. Two football, one hockey and one Pluto and Mickey. They are for friends grandchildren.
Those all turned out great Marie. I really like the Pluto one.--My second childhood. LOL Ginny
Great pillowcases. Love Mickey.
Nice pillowcases Marie. I really like the Pluto one. Mickey looks so happy to have his friend with him.
Really cute pillow cases Marie.
Wonderful job Marie. Cute Mickey and Pluto, very colorfull.
I like your pillowcases, Marie. Cute fabric choices!

My LQS gave me the pattern and the fabric for a pillow case the last time I was in there. They are so nice to me. Gee, I must be keeping them in business. I signed up for a class on Saturday that they are giving on curvy line landscapes...but I think I'll have to find time to get over there tomorrow to get Marge's blocks up on the design wall and get them sewn together.
Everyone has been showing such great work again and I have nothing to show for it...maybe I can post pictures of my plum jellies and jams and my canned tomatoes and salsas.
Thank you for all the nice compliments on my pillowcases. It was nice to be sewing again.
So cute Marie, I think these pillow cases are so much fun to make and turn out so nice. Great Job!
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Marie, cute, cute! :)
Made yet another post card today. Theme "Anything Recycled". This is a page from an old children's book with an old lace edge.
Karla:maybe I can post pictures of my plum jellies and jams and my canned tomatoes and salsas
I think you absolutely should take a picture of all those jars, and then print it on photo fabric, put a simple border around it, and call it your harvest quilt!
What a good idea, Nancy. I wonder how DH would feel about getting them all back out of the storage cupboards?
your postcards are getting better with each one. I love them. You have found your creativity niche.
I've taken DGS1 to the highschool to get his football gear. The LQS is right down the street so stopped there and laid out the quilt blocks. After several rearrangements, I've finally decided. I'll post a picture after I get back from taking DGS1 to the clinic for his sports physical.
