Thanks Thea and Deb for the compliments. I love making things for him. He is my only grandchild.
That is looking fantastic. You must have a LOT of patience.
That is such cute fabric with those helicopters.
You are so motivated with your MQ.
You do have your hands full it sounds. Hang in there!
The kitty quilt is soo cute. Cats are my favorite so a little partial to this one. Hope you get to feeling better again soon.
Wow! He is going to LOVE the patriotic quilt!
Ramona I'm trying. It helps my depression to know that I have a project to work on.
SpringerMom, If it doesn't, it should. I have been sorting out some quilt patterns. That should count too.
Darlene very nice patriotic quilt. I'm sure he will love it.
Darleneitsbeautiful! Did you post it in the fabric swaps? I wish you would under the patriotic block swap maybe. You did a great job, your guy will love it!
hhhdmh:I finished my grandson's 10th birthday quilt. He is into eagles and patriotic stuff. I used the blocks from the patriotic block swap and added some more of mine with it.
I love it Darlene.
Thea:Kris , I was up for a while got my kitchen floor scrubbed and clean - it is so hard to get it just the way I want it as every time I start doing it the four footed children have to come see what I am doing and before it is dry they have their putty prints on it - or DH just has to come in and out 40 times to see what he can do - and Mom with her walker - but got part done and then the rest and no putty paws - DH was forewarned and I blocked the door but Mom never came - so it is all clean now - makes the rest of the day go great...
Housework is always a work in progress.
Thea:How is your long arm doing? Have you done any of your quilts up on it or are you still having problems with birds nests...
I haven't gotten the long arm yet. I wanted custom paint so it added to the time. I'm supposed to get it early next month.
After I finished my coworker's quilt I dismantled my old frame and the machine that was on it is waiting to go to the shop for a tune up. That's what got me started on the make over in my sewing room. BTW looking through quilt books and magazines while quilting is a HUGE mistake. I know have 247 more new projects I want to make. LOL
I hope you can find a home with a great sewing space. When we were looking I was always on the lookout for just such a space.
Darlene, that sure was quick. I'm sure he will love it. I do.
Darlene, You certainly did a wonderful job on your DGS's quilt! And how quick were you using all the blocks we got in the swap. I'm sure he will enjoy it for many years to come.
