Karla, hope your daughters move goes well.

Agnes, I hope your move also goes well.

Gini, glad you are feeling better, the flu is never fun.

Ginny, glad you are better from bronchitis. Hope your arthritis gets better, I also have it in both my thumbs.

Bonita, glad to hear you didn't get sick too.

I made a small quilt , hour glass pattern, I wanted to try it. DGS1 is holding it up, he said he didn't want his picture taken.

Thanks, Weezee. Cute quilt looks like a great way to use some of your scraps. To bad GS wouldn't pose for us.

Thank you Bonita, he wanted to take my picture, I said no, so he didn't want to be in the picture with the quilt.

Springermom--I'm doing the packing of boxes but my son is coming to load and move it all. He better be nice to me so he will get some of Mom's cooking again. I'll be within easy walking distance of him.

We finally have spring. Thought it would never show this year. I see I better enjoy today because this is the high cusp for the week, looking like a one day teaser.

Glad you're having spring weather, Agnes.  We had some, but it seemed to disappear this week.  Temp has only been int he 50's and 60's with lots of the dreaded wind.  Today's wind was so bad and blew up so much dust and sand that I couldn't see my garage out of my kitchen window and it is only about 20 feet away.  Certainly glad I didn't waste any time dusting furniture this week...it seems to be about 1 inch thick now.

I've only been able to get one LUS block made today...had 4 of the grands over here, including the 21 month old.   i became so exhausted chasing him out of all of the closets, cabinets and my sewing room that I finally gave up and confined him to the high chair with a box of crayons, some paper and his bottle of water.  He colored for a little bit and promptly fell asleep, LOL.  Why didn't I think of this earlier.

Love the hour glass pattern.  Still need to put the batting, backing and quilting done on the current quilt top that I finished.  But here is a photo of the crochet quilt I completed

Well I haven't posted in quite a while but thought I would share my latest top.  My colleague is having twins some time this summer and she knows they are boys.  I had some cowboy and indian materials decided to use them to make matching but different quilts for her.  Hope to have them both done by the end of the month because I don't think she will be teaching much longer.  One baby is enough but two growing inside of you?  Glad I only had one at a time.

Me too, Mimi...mine were only 20 months apart and that was enough to drive this working mother crazy.

I love your quilt, I'm sure your co-worker will love it too.  I made 2 baby quilts last month, one for my niece and one for a cousin, both were boys and I used the "Boots All Around" pattern.  I made them a little different, but unfortunately I only remembered to take a picture of one of them.

Gini, I hope you feel better. I dragged my butt all week, finally stayed home Friday. Feeling better, but the energy is not completely back.
