Ok this is what I made my mother along with a crochet hat which she won't need until next December.
Pat thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Mom had her turn in the hospital too with intense headaches. They didn't find any cause for the pain. Their thought was that maybe Mom had a bleeder and that everything was resorbed by the time they did the scan.
Thea your Baltimore album quilt is awesome.
Donna, love the heart Bargello.
Thanks CC. It will get better. The sun has to shine again soon.
Carol that is a cute bear quilt.
Kris your quilt for your coworker is beautiful. And the quilting is lookong good.
Angèle from NWO
CC I agree, Barbara helped many of us try things I know I probably wouldn't have tried. Thanks for reminding me of that.
Candis, your butterfly quilt is purely adorable. Your aunt will be so surmised and she will LOVE it. What a great idea to make those butterflies. They are elegant.
Kris, your MQ5 looks wonderful. I love your border. What great details to finish a beautiful quilt.
Agnes, I am happy that you are moving closer to family. Are you moving west or north of Winnipeg? I am envious that you will be able to enjoy the lake view while you create.
Mamagshouse Donna Gilliam:Ok this is what I made my mother along with a crochet hat which she won't need until next December.
I'm sure she will love them.
Kris, I finally had a chance to look at your blog. Love all the pics of your quilt. This is one that I have the completed top so it is on my UFO list, Mine is in pastels and hardly looks like the same pattern. lol. Yours is a lot nicer than mine. I like your POC block, both versions. I decided to work on the sampler blocks for awhile because EPP is totally new to me and I need the practice, You do such beautiful handwork that I know yours will be gorgeous!
I don't post as often as I'd like on this thread but I love seeing all the wonderful work and reading the thread.
I've been working on birthday presents for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. It helped me get in a little free motion quilting practice too!
Roxana, that is a beautiful doll quilt. I love it!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Roxana I'm sure your DGD will love all the doll stuff you made for her.
I'm so excited!! I finally got my borders on my Baltimore's Country Cousin quilt that I have been working on since March 2011. The top is done - now to the quilting!

I'm moving east from Winnipeg and will actually be more or less north of you in Red Lake. Have to change my signature. Will be an Ontario resident in just over two weeks time.

Roxana, Your grand daughter will squeal with delight. She will love everything you made.
This ensemble is gorgeous! Your DGD will cherish it for years after she no longer plays with dolls. My daughter still has a doll quilt I made and she is 40. Sadly, there are no longer any little girls in my family. It is such fun to sew for them with all the frills and embellishments you can use.
