Thea!!!!  How beautiful your quilt is!  Your quilts are always so perfect and so gorgeous. I don't know if I'll ever even attempt one that intricate.

Donna,

Wow!  What a beautiful gift!  Bargello is one technique I have never tried.  You do it so terrifically.

Thank you Barbara.  It is actually a very easy technique,  you just have to be organized and keep track track of your rows.  Making a schematic is the only way to keep on top of it.

Donna, your b argello quilt is beautiful.  I love the pattern.  Good job.  Bargello is on my bucket list if I ever get up enough nerve to attempt it.  LOL

Donna, Your Bargello quilt is absolutely gorgeous.  I think of all the Bargello quilts that that is the sweetest pattern.  And don't sell yourself short - I think Bargello's similar to yours are the most difficult to pull off.  Charts and Pins... very hard.  I watched Eileen do hers and the time it took her.  I have made just a small one and realize how much time they take.  You did wonderful and I know your daughter will be happy so happy with this quilt.

Finished up the 80 blocks for Orion Star and put on design wall and started arranging.  Also worked on piecing the border for an Irish Chain which has been in the works many years.   I hope to start sewing the blocks together for OS tonight.

I'm having quilt withdrawals cause once again they messed up my DH paycheck.  He found another job he starts on Monday.  Gonna make some block out of scraps.

I finished the baby quilt for the other twin girl cousin due in June. The first was the bunny Patch Pal quilt and the second is the bear Patch Pal. This one is quilted with lots of teddy bears.

Here's the back:

Finished clipping stray threads from a pretty bedroom throw I FINALLY got done, and ran the lint roller over it to be sure they're gone, along with a few hairs contributed by my dogs. Then pressed the backing. Was ready to fold it when the above-mentioned pair of yahoos walked under my work table and shared  a few hairs on the edges of that. Thanks, guys! So, the lint roller again. It's all folded and safely in a bag, ready to walk out the door tomorrow. This project has been in the works for about 1-1/2 years now... just a lot of procrastination, and setting it aside to start other projects that caught my eye. But, now it's ready for the longarmer! I want some pretty quilting on it since it's a gift for a dear friend, and I'm currently qualified/certified for only stitch-in-the-ditch! lol. The second I get home tomorrow I'll finally get to look in my idea/project bin to see what I might want to start next. I made that bin off-limits until I finished this!   kathy

Carol,

Your baby quilts are so adorable.  They look like the type of projects that you smile the whole time you are working on them.  I love the quilting designs you used on each.  Great job!

SpringerMom that is so funny cause I have two German Shepherds that shed so badly I wish I could spin it into yarn.  I try my best to keep them out of my sewing room but their hair gets everywhere.  I sweep it up daily and there is still so much everyday.  Oh well I love them anyway.  Ty is the bigger one in the back & Sadie is the darker one laying with her head down.  She was a rescue who've we've had now for almost two months she is so very attached to me which has helped with depression.  So has this QCA group. I sent you a friend request.
