I can't believe how behind I am on posts.  It looks like I haven't read anything since Wednesday.  So here goes.

Marie - I love your hair cut.  My hair is just as white as that.  Don't you love it.  Always get compliments on the color.  And I wear it as short as I can get it.  My summer do.  Don't want to be bothered with it.

Judy - I'm like you I put off making hair appointments until I look like a shaggy dog.  Which I do right now.  I hae an appt on Wednesday.   And I love your auction quilt.  So cute.  You do make the most marvelous quilts.

Kris - Congrats on your long-arm purchase. Boy am I jealous.  Would love to have one but there is no way I could afford one on my little SS income.  When I bought my Phaff several years ago I got it with the express purpose of being able to quilt on it.  Haven't yet but the time is coming soon.  Need to bite that bullet.

Carol - Really cute baby quilt.  Like the back and your quilting.

Angele - You and your family have had your fair share of health issues.  Ihope everyonje gets better soon.  Will keep you and family in my prayers.

If I have missed anyone forgive me.  I can only keep so much in my head at one time.  LOL

Thea - How could I forget.  Your Autumn Baltimore album quilt is spectacular.  So much work and patience in doing it.  Congrats on a greata job and getting it done.

Thank you again to everyone that posted since I last thanked the members... love you all!  You really do give me the motivation to continue with this hobby of mine.

Kris - if all else failed then yes get it back to the repair man - but make sure he is a good one - you have to remember all the problems I had with the tech here and then afterwards to hear so many horror stories about him... too bad Angie's list doesn't have a thread for bad technical repair men for sewing machines - I do have Rob Appell though out there in California who is absolutely the best - he took what was going to be a $7500 flower pot and got it to working great - I don't use my Pfaff very much anymore though as I like the extra throat space in my Janome and I haven't done any machine embroidery in forever.  I am taking both machines to MN with me though as I don't know if Cassie wants me to do some embroidery on Echo's dresses... the last embroidery I did was the Peacock I put on her dress for the wedding.... so long ago now...

Thea,

i've been taking it to the dealer where I purchased it. No problems until now.

My Pfaff 2170 is my favourite machine but it was smoking a while back so it's in the shop. This particular guy is really good to my Pfaffs. He thinks he can save it. It's old but I love it. Too bad they don't make them like that anymore.

gini:

Darn, kris, this quilt is really giving you fits.  Try throwing it on the floor and stomping it 'til it behaves.

That was gonna be my suggestion. If it still won't co-operate after a thorough stomping, kick it under a large appliance and forget about it for a while.  ...It works for a cat.
