Thea:
Kris, have they thought about a neuro stimulator for you like they put in for my neck - the nerves pain messages are cut off from getting to my brain and believe me it is wonderful - they also use them for other issues like your spasms.

No but I've had many steroid injections in various parts.

I'm doing my own research, gathering my records and will go see a specialist on my own.

Well Ginny and Kris, guess what?  Awakened to snow but the sun is out strong, so I'm going back to bed until it melts!   "&*+%#*^#"

Kris, your hug is here whenever you want it, just let me know when you could come.

Debbie-do, you've answered my question, thank you.  I have a dresden ruler that only cuts to 8", do you think that would give me a big enough purse?

Any way I could get 10" from that ruler, this question is for you math genius'?

Marie, I think 8" would be a little short for this bag.  It might look more like a canoe than a purse!  :)    Here's what I would do...  put the small end of the Dresden ruler along the edge of your 10" strip of fabric then put a straight edge along side, move away the Dresden and use the straight edge as your cutting line. If you layer your fabrics you'll reduce the number of cuts you have to make so it shouldn't get too tedious.

I'm sorry, Marie.  I wish that it hadn't snowed, but then, misery loves company.  The sun was out bright at my house yesterday too, but it didn't melt the snow.  It is still here today.  It did in my daffodils that had just started blooming the day before and the tulip leaves look like they are toast this  morning. I think the extreme cold after the 79 degree temps the day before cooked them for this year.   I am going into my sewing room to work on some quilt blocks this morning.    Ginny

The sun melted the snow on my windshield, having a haircut in 20 minutes so better get going.  Sorry your plants are "cooked".

Marie:

Sounds like a plan, DD, thanks!

I generally cut my Dresden segments exactly how Debby-Do describes, lengthening or shortening the original template that way without having to cut a new one. Ihave a number of different templates, based on number of segments in a full circle but no ruler.

Thanks Agnes, I'm home from my haircut and plan on trying DD's instructions keeping in mind your tip.

I feel 5# lighter since I had my haircut, real short and sweet.  Wash and wear, easy-peasy.

I got absolutely nothing accomplished yesterday.  My husband's pay was shorted so I didn't get to go fabric shopping;(

Off topic how did you all get your cute signatures did you just configure one in Word and then copy & paste
