Roxana I love the idea of having a separate thread for imformative and instructional videos and or links to specific helpful sites and videos. So many newbies that could benefit from all these, and seasoned Quilters too, like the bag video and boxes today! Easy access to them would be wonderful! As it is they are scattered and buried in a matter of a day or so.  We would then be able to refer people to a certain discussion thread or a folder within the thread!  Great idea!

Candis, I heartily agree with you about having a place to go for informative and instructional videos.  It would be so very helpful.    Ginny

Debbie-do, thanks so much for the fabric basket link. I made one today. It's from a 10" square. So easy to make.

I wasn't sure what I wanted to use it for, then saw the ugly air freshener sitting behind our kitchen sink.  I will probably replace the air freshener with something else. But for now, it works.

Debbie-do, You saved the day.  Jr has been feeling kind of left out lately. I showed him your baskets and he thought they were pretty neat, so we worked together and whipped one up for his grandma's Easter Basket.  We'll finish putting the buttons on it after supper and I'll get a pic before Sunday.

Judy, I  Love the cat by your darling basket. I have a rooster similar to that...

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

Roxana:
I almost think we need a thread that just gives us links to great resources and projects. What do you all think?

There is one. I started it in my blog then admin created one. It's hard to keep those threads current when there are so many. They get buried quickly.

The community blog has a lot of links in this post.

It would be a good idea to add posts to your favourites when you see them so you always know how to get back to them.

While I'm here I'll say I have been very quilty minded this weekend. I went to MQX yesterday. It was amazing. I have tons of photos sitting in my camera. I made a block for "The Loyal Union Sampler" and I worked on a quilt for a coworker.

I fear I over did it more than a bit. I'm now in bed spasming like crazy.

I was working on one of the boxes today but I had to get my granddaughter cuz her mom was sick. Love these boxes. So cute and so easy! I was visiting my daughter in Killeen for a few days and I taught her how to quilt. I think she's hooked. It was so much fun. I feel awful for her because she is alone there while her fiancé works in Afghanistan and she only has a couple of friends. Maybe quilting will help distract her.

I guess you can say I worked digitally on future quilt ideas.  After I finish my current one I plan on doing a jelly roll quilt and a layer cake.  Jenny Doan's tutorials have me excited to make them.

Wow!  Those boxes were a hit!  You can thank Sukochi!  She's the one who shared it with me.   Thanks for the compliments on all of my projects... it's nice to be out of my slump!

LOVE that cat.  Where can I get one?
