OMG Quiltless, I nearly peed myself laughing...especially when I misread #16 and thought it said "rectal" scan. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this up!!
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Quiltless, your UFO story is priceless. I hope I never have a UFO for that many years.
Quilt less, that was too cute!
I did not work on a quilt today. I went 50 miles to a quilt shop that is closing advertising a HUGE sale only to discover that the sale was only 10% off. What kind of a closing sale is that, I ask?
Not worth driving 50 miles for....cost of gas was more than you saved in fabric price I'm sure.
LOL..I drive more then 50 miles every time I go to the LQS. The nearest one is on the far side of the moon...
I finished Vase 2 (lower right of photo) of my Love Entwined with Esther Aliu's Yahoo BOM Group over the weekend & today I spent most of the morning transferring Vase 3 for the top right corner. I've gotten the vase & stems cut & glue basted to the fabric & need to work on the flowers. I usually do the hand sewing in evenings & my days doing the machine sewing on my Dear Jane blocks. I think it'll take me 2 days to get the flowers prepped.
Patricia, that is very beautiful! Just lovely!

Patricia Faye--that is awe-inspiring! Great work on all those little pieces!!
Last night I finished the binding on the patriotic RR. Just need to put the label on the back and we are done! There are a few spots where the tension on the LA was a bit loose, so I will go over those spots with my DM. I really don't want the quilting to come undone, so I'd rather take the time to do that before I put the label on it.
Tonight my plan is to get the binding on the football quilt. I know it won't be all the way on (I'm going to hand finish it), but I do want to get it attached.
And I may just take a peek at the flannel baseball top. I noticed as I was squaring it up at the LA's, that there are a couple spots that I didn't catch the edge well enough. I'll have to glue them down. I don't think I have any remaining flannel to do the binding on it, though, so I'm not sure what to use...have to really think about it.
Wow! Patricia Fay, I just had to magnify the photo to appreciate that detail. Beautiful!
Thanks to all to enjoyed the little UFO story. I am actually working on that UFO today.
Been working on small projects for a few days, I hit my to small toes on the couch, now they are black and blue painful and swollen, I hate that can't sit long and sew, gotta keep it propped. I wish I did hand work like some of you Ladies! Carpal tunnel would have something to say though, SO I shop on line Fabric of coarse, and play on QCA, and look at patterns! So small mug rugs for a few days, seeing how to get creative with them, using different design elements. Fun, hope everyone else is having a great day! Kinda quiet! Judy how are you? You behaving?
Candis, I hope your toes stop hurting soon. I know painful feet. Mine wake me up most every night.
