Marie, sorry this is so late. Here's the link to the pattern I used to make the microwave bowl holders. I tried the one from quilt in a day and it's fine. But, for me, this one was easier. I modified the pattern a bit to make it even simpler. I simply made darts in all four sides that were 3" in length. Didn't bother to measure for a specific bowl. If I want it smaller, I make the darts longer and wider. If I want it flatter, I make the darts narrower. I don't do free motion quilting, just stitch corner to corner, side to side. Just needs to hold the layers together.

I have a tub of discarded and extra blocks in various sizes. I use those for the bowl holders, trimming or adding, if needed, to make it 10" square.

I just made the purple and white one this morning for the QATW April contest.

The photo kind of flattens them out, they are actually deeper than they look. I use them for reheating bowls of soup, small plates of food.

Judy, please don't apologize, I'm just happy it wasn't a heart attack and your heart is strong.  As for your other problems they're manageable, no fun but.......stay well.

Judy T-Bellingham:

A pile of new meds to try, eliminate added salt, no more soda's, cut way back on fried, fat, spicy. In other words.....if it tastes good, spit it out!

Judy, glad it wasn't your heart after all.You made me laugh at the spit it out comment. it's not easy changing the way you need to eat, but it will keep you out of the ER. Now to take my own advice.

Judy, thanks for telling me to delete my browsing history again....it seems to be working now, except for making multiple posts to the LUS group.  It's making me wait an hour in between posts, which is annoying.  I've started posting the 4/8 assignments, because I figure it will take me until Tuesday to get them all posted.  I haven't even made the 3/25 blocks yet.

I haven't got any sewing done today, drove to Reno to pick up my FW which I had serviced, and the rest of the afternoon was spent working on the water system for the garden.  It seems that Bailey likes chewing up all of the rubber/plastic hoses and bubbler heads.  Needless to say, DH is not happy with her.

Yesterday, I did, however, finish a baby quilt.  It's made with flannel.  Here's a pic:

This is my 10 year old grandson holding the quilt up for me.  It was done almost exclusively from my stash, except for the beige background.
