Bonita, I love the blocks you have done so far. I am working on a baby quilt, the sleeping bear pattern again. I have make this pattern so many times I should be able to do it with my eyes closed. At least it is for a girl this time. Last few quilts have been for boys. It is nice to use pinks and purples for a change.

Bonita, your FWS quilt is really looking good!  I'm still working on mine; I'll make a few blocks and then get sidetracked by something else, and later come back and make a few more blocks.  I will finish it though!  Eventually. lol

Weezee56, since I will be a grandmother later this year I was curious about your sleeping bear pattern. I especially like your quilting on the purple quilt in your gallery.

Bonita, Love your Farmer's Wife. It';s so much brighter then some of the others I've seen - very cheerful.

I can't believe it, I've been able to get on every day this week!! How refreshing after being locked out for the past month+.  :)

I've been working on a couple of star quilts (Trying to make a dent in my stash) and can't recall what I have shared here and what I haven't so bare with me:

This is what we are calling the Rivendell Star because my DD says it looks "Very elf-ish".  DS chose the moss green for the backgounrd and I think it sets it off very nicely.

And this is a star I am working on for DD. I was planning to use tropical brights, but when she saw that star up there, she announce that she loved the more earthy colors. Now that I have gone this far on it (She hasn't seen it) she's announced that the stack of brights is "Just Gorgeous" and she wishes I'd make her a quilt out of them *hint*....    So I may well be working on yet another one before the month is out.  I'm sure that whichever she chooses, the other will find a home.

Both of those stars are beautiful, CC.  Sounds like your daughter is utilizing her woman's prerogative- to change her mind at random.   No, I just think she likes it all.

Good to see you back posting.    Ginny

I got my wedges cut, now i'm trying to find out how many i can put in a circle.  Is there a rule for that?

another thing i've never done a quilt on a curve this should be interesting.

C.C. I love these Stars!  Your Daughter would be blessed to have any of them, heck make it reversible, then she could change her mind. Lol. That sounds like my daughter. That's what she would suggest I do !   I better keep that idea to myself!   Love your colors!

IS, How many wedges you can put in a circle depends on the degrees in your wedge.

Divide your degrees into 360 to see how many it'll  take to make a full turn.  A 10 degree wedge takes 36 pieces.  A 9 degree wedge takes 40. 60 degrees takes 6, etc...   It should say on your ruler how many degrees it is.  Have fun and post a pic when you are finished!!
