Thanks Candis.  You can make one easily. Pattern is on www.countedquilts.com and the name of the pattern is Football Bird #4s.

Judy

Once again, you have wowed me with your creativity and quickness.  This is so cute and is sure to be a special offering to your charity for goats.  I love the idea of a dark binding around the quilt.  It will frame it perfectly.  Thanks for sharing this fun quilt.

Thanks for all the comments on my quilt top!  It was fun and easy to do; the pattern came from the May/June 2013 Love of Quilting magazine.  I'll be changing the borders from the original though.

Carol - Love the quilt and the colors!!!

As for me, I got exactly one seam sewn on a quilt in progress this morning...then spent the ENTIRE DAY tearing apart the ENTIRE house looking for a table topper pattern that I purchased not once, but twice!!!! It seems it got lost in the move :(  Since I only made it once, there are some specifics I don't remember :(  It WAS going to be a quick gift for a friend...will now have to rethink...but I am soooooo annoyed!!  I refuse to purchase it a 3rd time.  So bummed I can't even look at the sewing machine. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel differently...at least I hope so since I have a number of larger projects "under construction"...

Boy it sure is quiet on QCA. It's like a ghost town! It makes me very sad.  I am working on the appliquéd sashings surrounding my hankie butterfly Quilt blocks.  Sush a pain. I hate repetitive. But it must be done!  Hope you all are having a great day!

Yes, it is quiet. QCA is fairly fast this morning.  I'm making some quilted microwave bowl holders. They are fun and fast to make. I'm using mostly orphan blocks.

Oh that sounds like fun!! I have just recently started branching out to other items besides Quilts! Like pillowcases, and mug rugs! And pin cushions, and bags.  I like your microwave bowl idea. Trying to make more projects for Christmas gifts and for the secret Santa swap. I like to fill a big ole box full of goodies!   Show us when your done will you?

Yes, it is quiet today.  Guess no one wants to be April fooled.  That's okay.  I got an infection in my eye last night and spent the morning at the eye drs office today.  Hurts to try to focus on the screen, so I am not going to be on here much today.   Enjoyed the furbaby pictures though.    Ginny

I worked on my Orion Star quilt today.  Made (almost) 7 more blocks.  Will finish them shortly and then want to work on my UFO  Star block quilt.  I've decided to make the quilt bigger by adding another row of blocks.  As it stands now it is a great twin but I want a queen or at least a good full-sized one so I need to add another row of blocks plus several borders.  That will probably change everything I had decided about the sashing, etc.  Fabric may be a problem   I wonder if placing them on point would change the dimensions much?  Still would have the problem of having enough sashing fabric  Phooey.  One of the drawbacks for not finishing a quilt in a timely manner!  Would have to use the green which I don't really like

I spent a couple of hours working on the FWS blocks and a bit of sashing. I now have eleven rows together. Need to do 8 more blocks then I can finish the rows.

I'm making the queen size one and it's getting really big.
