Judy,  I absolutely love your rendition of Eeyore.  He is my favorite too.  But I think it will be a while before I tackle him since you had a time with it.  I have only made one previous paper pieced quilt square, and I loved doing it.      Ginny

Ginny, don't be afraid to do this one. It's just time consuming. The pieces don't print in color so I had to use crayons to color in the sections before sewing them. With all the little pieces I made a couple mistakes and had to re-do a couple small sections.

I may try one more character before starting a quilt for a charity auction I've committed to.

Bev, I like what you have done so far. Once it's done you'll like it again. Who dosen't like a great finish?

Judy, I love your Eeyore, he's so cute. I see where the tiny pieces are with all the spikey hair. You did a great job. Waiting to see the other guys now. I know you will do them. LOL

I am working on a vintage handkerchief butterfly quilt for my spouses Aunt that is turning 90 in May! I have been collecting vintage decorative handkerchiefs for a few ears now, I always had in mind to do one of these quilts, now I have the perfect, sweet woman to do it for, that will love and appreciate it!! I am very excited!  Here is two of the blocks I finished,  screwed up one of the antenna  dang.  Oh well!

Candis, this is going to be gorgeous. What a beautiful quilt and such a lovely thought! I like the way you are using the handkerchiefs.

Oh !! Thank you, I'm really excited about this one,  I'm still trying to perfect the folding, but I just keep in mind, all butterflies are different!! At least It makes me feel better! Lol.  I am hoping the result is old fashioned but kinda elegant.   Here's crossing my fingers it looks as good as in my head!

Candis your hankie butterflies are beautiful. I am sure that your 90 year old aunt will greatly appreciate the vintage hankies.

I am working on Jodie's BOM still. I am determined to finish this thing this month. If I ever decide to make a king size quilt again I hope someone intervenes. LOL. I am doing QAYG and it is fighting me all the way. I have to finish quilting one side of the last row, then borders and binding. The UFO group is only going for 3 months so I have to finish this month, not to mention I am ready for this quilt to be on a bed and not my sewing machine!

Judy

This little guy is so adorable.  If the others are like this, how can you resist making them?!

Thank you Bonita! So far the plan is 12 blocks they are 16 in. And will have sashings. I am hoping to do vine work on the sashings appliquéd with tiny silk flowers appliquéd. Like I said in my head, beautiful and classic like she is!

Judy, I love your Eeyore.

Diane, your kit quilt is really pretty.

I spent the day with my college age grandsons so no quilting for me.
