I was working on this quilt and after finishing the blocks I can't remember why I bought the kit for this quilt and can't say that I like this one. It comes with tan sashing and black for the binding.

On a happier note I get to start a quilt for my first Grandchild and have bought some juvenile fabrics but need to decide on a pattern. Any suggestions....in the Spring issue from Keepsake quilting catalog page 23 they have a block of the month that looks like a good choice.

I am working on quilt(s) today. But this particular blocks is just for fun. Fandominstitches website has wonderful Disney patterns for paper piecing. I'm a huge Winnie the Pooh fan and saved all the patterns. I couldn't resist making Eeyore, who is my favorite. Looking at the pattern I just didn't realize the number of tiny pieces. This was a challenge and I made a few oopsies and had to remake some sections. But after all is said and done, I'm very happy with the block. I don't know if I'll make more but suspect I won't be able to resist Piglet or Owl or Pooh himself. This is a 10" block unfinished.

Thanks Candis. The blocks are all so cute. I'm having to cross my legs and grit my teeth not to dig in and make some of the others.

Judy, that is so darn cute!! I can't wait to see the next one. Are they all paper piecing? I can't tell you how much I love to see all of your works of art. I loved the one you posted for the auction last year I think.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on Kaleido Crazy.  I am really tickled with how this turned out...even if it was a kit...LOL!  Nothing was pre-cut, so I even had to cut the kaleido triangles...and I just LOVE Jinny Beyer fabrics. Just wish they weren't so pricey!

Bev - really like your quilt.  The dark sashing really helps.  I think sometimes quilts with all neutral fabrics get "washed out"....the dark sashing in yours really brings out the neutral fabrics.

Judy - Eyeore is my favorite, too!!!!  Love love love that block.  In fact, I'm heading right to that sight to check it out as soon as I click on "post"! LOL!  Can't wait to see the others!

Bev - When you are ready to do an I Spy quilt for your grand...let me know...I have a REALLY EASY pattern (a disappearing nine patch - you can see a sample in my gallery) that works up quick.  My grandson LOVES his so much I had to make a second one for my stepdaughter to give as a gift.  Now starting a "girl version" with I Spy Jar Blocks.  I can even send you some fabrics to use :)

Thanks Diane, I love the I Spy quilt and do want to make one but I do think I will wait until they know if they are having a boy or girl not that it should matter : )

I will check out your gallery for your REALLY EASY pattern because easy is what I need.

BTW, I really love your  Kaleidoscope Crazy quilt !

Thanks Bev. Yes all the Fandom in Stitches patterns are paper piecing. Eeyore seemed like Zillions of pieces.
