Karla:

So, here are the first 5 rows.

Woohoo, Karla!  It looks like it will be a mega-big quilt when you're done.  What dimensions do you think?

Karla,

Great job! That does appear to be a large quilt.  I know you're happy to be this far along.

Here's the match game for DGD. I've got two rows together so far. It looks like I've copied Diane's I Spy, but I swear I didn't know what her's looked like. I really copied a D9P that Kris posted a while back. Different fabrics but the same idea. it posted sideways, oh well.

Bonita - Too funny that we did the same quilt! I love that D9P pattern - so quick and easy!! Downside for me was 88 different "Spy" fabrics - yowsa! I never could have done either (I've done 2) of them without the help of the wonderful women here that shared some fabric!

Quilting on mine is done. Just cut the binding and will bind tomorrow - we had MORE snow today, so will be staying in most of tomorrow.  Must get out at some point to get some work done for settling my parents' estates, but other than that, staying in and warm :)

It's taken me about a week to catch up to this site. I love all the quilts I've seen . Those I spy quilts are just  a great idea. Thanks for sharing them. What a great idea. I will start saving some fun I spy fabrics.

Angele:

Jacy:

Here's what I've been working on the last few days. My 11yr old DS decided his book project was going to be a wall hanging of a picture in his assigned book, they were assigned a folktale this month. We had fun doing it and I hastily took a photo of it before he took it out the door to school. It wasn't quite finished but he was anxious to show his teacher.

From the book East of the Sun and West of the Moon by Mercer Mayer.

Beautiful wall hanging! You and your son did a great rendition of the picture.

This site drives me nuts, It wouldn't let me quote part of the message, so sorry for copying it all.

Thanks Angele. It was fun to make. He brought it back from school so now we need to finish it.

I've gotten the first 2 borders on the Brewster's Choice and will put the third on tonight...will post pic after the last border is on.  Also made a round table topper (Jenny Doan pattern) in red and white so I can use it for both Feb. and Christmas.  Made hubby a mug rug with heart on it from scraps, a Twister Valentine Heart hanging, and started cutting an piecing blocks for the next kaleidoscope quilt (a Jinny Beyer quilt).

Enjoying seeing everyone's wonderful work and getting really inspired :)  Judy and Karla - really like the LUS quilts you are working on :)

Weather finally broke here for the last 2 days...but cold is coming back :(  Oh well...more time to quilt!
