Candis, Your memory quilt is beautiful - This is a new idea for me a Kaleidoscope for a memory quilt... and you should be proud to have done all those inset seams - that is awesome - it is gorgeous!  Great job!

Today I made a couple LUS blocks and then had the bright idea to start putting them together.  I've got the first 2 rows together, but now must head off to take the grandsons to TaeKwonDo.  I'll post a pic of what I've done so far as soon as I get the next 2 rows sewn on.

Karla, that's what I'm working on. Or, rather, struggling with. I decided to put them on-point. But now I'm in a quandry. I'm trying to decide if I want to alternate the LUS blocks with modified 9-patch blocks. (a large 9 patch with a small 9 patch in the center). I have the layouts in EQ7 and can't decide which layout I like best.

Guess I just won't decide and will keep on making the blocks. Inspiration will surely hit me at some point.

Karla:   Love the Black/white and red quilt.  I remember seeing this one at the retreat.  Looks like flags on the back?  Am I wrong?

Great Job as usual!

I DID work on a quilt today.  Well, in between a lot of chatter.  And of course I had to get in my hugs with that Great Granddaughter.   I'm finally getting back to some sewing.  Feels good!

It's been a real test to get on this QCA site as many of you know.  So I'm sure not up to date with everyone and their projects.  I'll just say WTG gals.  Keep up the good work.

I really need to figur out a way of reminding myself not to do a bad quilting habit when binding.  If i haven't done one in a while i fold the edge twice and it makes it way too thick rather then cutting a long strip and attaching to both sides.  Got any tips for me to set this reminder?

this was attempt at free motion quilting with twin needle .  I think I'll be quilting wall one with straight and not twin needle.
