Agnes, IS, Patti, and Judy T - love your quilts!! You all are such an inspiration to me :)

Finally got pictures taken of the Mummers quilt I'm donating to DH's String Band to raffle as a fund-raiser.  Also the 2nd prize large tote and 3rd prize pillow set.  The quilt is a pattern from Jean in MN...

Here's the tote bag and pillows.  Realized way too late that the yellow pinwheel in the pillows is much too light :(   But I wasn't going to tear the pillows apart to replace it.  Another lesson learned!

Judy, your Seattle Seahawks quilt has such a clean, clear design.  Very well done, Judy.

Patti:

Here is the finished scrappy top.  I will use the dark blue in the border for the binding.

This one is interesting to look at.  That makes it art to me.  The curvy part in the center looks very challenging.  Nice job, Patti.

The Mummers quilt, tote and pillows have a Mardi Gras look to them.    I don't think the yellow is too light.  Good job, Diane.

I like the fabric.  I do not think the yellow is wrong I really like the way it pops.

Quilt, have fun, spend less time worrying if it is perfect.

Patti,

Do you need my address and a box to ship it in, LOL.  I love one....just saying in case you need a home for it.

A label should go on every quilt.  Having said that, no I don't. But I am going to start with my next one. I'm trying to find a small one that doesn't shout.

I don't necessarily myself but many charity groups have a standard label they attach or give to you to attach. I am on the fence about the need for a label because I want my quilts to be used and not saved as heirlooms.
