I am working on a Seattle Seahawks quilt today (In fact nearly non stop all week). Just finished quilting the top and trimming the edges. I laid it out on the floor to play with what binding to use and along comes Sophie just as I snap the photo. I did decide on the binding; I'll use a medium gray. Should have it finished and in the washing this afternoon.

Nice quilt!  Your design, I'll bet.  I'm guessing you could get some attention from the local press in the days leading up to the big game if you sent a picture to them!

Thanks Nancy, yes my design using EQ7. Hadn't thought of sending a photo to the press but think I'll pass. My step daughter's friends have said they'd like to buy it but I haven't decided on that yet. Partly because the quilting is downright awful, hurried too much and was just sloppy.

Judy, love the quilt. Did you write the players names in the quilting?

Thanks Gini and Jeannette. Bonita, yes I did free motion quilt in players names. I messed up by not planning it better ahead of time so didn't get all the starting defense and offense in, but did get many of them. Glad it's done. Oh, I hear the dinger, it's ready to come out of the washer and into the dryer.

Judy I bet it looks really great just haven't seen pic of it yet .  I was talking with someone at my local Joann's telling them how big my mq9 turned out because of extra borders i put on thinking no one could use it even though its on its way to minnesota now and the associate said i bet the sasquatch would be happy to get it.  LOL.

Dropped off the two quilts I finished and picked up another as well as backing fabric for one of my UFO's. Soon, maybe I can say I am caught up and can look at a new quilt.

Here is the finished scrappy top.  I will use the dark blue in the border for the binding.

Judy, I'm not a sports fan, but I love your seahawks quilt. Your colors/ value placement/settings really make it pop!

Patty that scrappy is just too fun! Great job!
