When I did the binding on my last flannel quilt, I was worried I hadn't cut enough binding but I started sewing it on and actually ended up with two inches to spare... With the second, I knew there was plenty so I started sewing it on and when I came to the end carefully measured and cut it to short, requiring that I put in an extension.  Don't do drugs and quilt.

Gini, so sorry about your horrible day.

Patti, I love your scrappy! Right up my alley.

I did not work on a quilt today. Had a dr appt this morin ping, then a stop at the quilt shop for binding fabric, then to the eye dr. Couldn't hardly see to drive home due to eye dilation so I took a long nap when I got home.

Love everyone's work.

I have been looking at PHD's and I think I can get them done during my recovery....except... While changing my walking foot for my 1/4 inch I swept the tiny tiny little screw somewhere with my sleeve. The local store closed so I can't buy another, my other machine is totally different.  My husband may be able to find it when he gets home, in the meantime, I did get the fluff from sewing flannel, out of my machine. What a mess!!  I don't dare vacuum yet but I picked out enough to make a pillow!

Yay me! I finished the star. Now I have to decide on a background and figure out boarders, etc...

This one breaks me out of my Crayola 8 pack of brighty brights and brings me into the more adult word of color, don'tya think?  I'm out of my comfort zone, for sure. LOL Thanks for the inspiration, Karla.
