Dee-Duck, your quilt is beautiful.  I do not see where the darl blocks are so I think it looks great just the way it is.  Look forward ro seeing it complete.

Karla:
Maybe I better go watch the Craftsy class that I bought a few months ago...I believe it was on curved pieces.

Here's a great little tutorial, Karla:  http://mackandmabel.blogspot.com/2014/01/block-buster-sunday-1-curved-piecing.html

Scroll down to the section on pinning (just a few) and sewing.  I've done two curved piece quilts, and they went together very nicely.  It's not as scary as it first looks.

Jacy,

Fun quilt!  I also procrastinate when it comes to finishing quilt tops.  And, when I finally get around to doing the quilting, it always amazes me at how little time it really takes to put it on the machine, quilt and bind it.  Then I have to reprimand myself because I procrastinated.  A vicious circle.

Angele

These are so cute!  What lucky children to receive one of these.  Baby things are one of my favorite things to do.

Thanks for the encouragement MNnancy! The blue 1/2SqTriangle (maybe half a basket) block at the very center bottom and same row vertically at top (bright pink) are the darkest ones in real life. Last night I decided the quilt will be too small for a queen bed blanket so will have to make another 16 blocks to add two more rows. And, of course, I still have two more appliqued flowers blocks to make that will balance out everything. I am working outside my comfort zone with pastels so maybe that is the reason I am having difficulties with quilt top. As a hint for everyone, I have laid the blocks upon the reverse side of plastic picnic tablecloth. Fabric adheres to it like a design board only I have the option to roll and fold it up when needed. Please note that when blocks are not sewn together it takes hesitation when unrolling because the blocks will move. I have begun sashing with 2" light pink (top right bolt of fabric in photo). Again thanks for the comment. I sure do need pushing and dragging through this one. LOL
