Agnes:

Agnes, I love what you did with your panels and stripes!  The quilting is pretty, too!

Dee-Duck, that is a gorgeous sampler!  Good for you for getting back to it!  Someone will love to be on the receiving end of that.  Based on the photo, I do not see three blocks that are too dark.

Karla:
I also need to get all 6 of the Dear Janes done this week, because the next assignment will be out on Wednesday.

Karla, the first dear Jane assignment included several very quick and easy blocks.

Karla:
I have a Round Robin to finish, too,

Don't stress over that, get to it when you are able, I'm in no hurry.

Angele, I like your big star quilt, so bright and cheery. And you woodland animal one looks like another great kids quilt. Some little person is going to love it.

Dee, those are beautiful blocks you have there. i especially like your flower blocks in the center. I too don't see any blocks that are too dark. i think it adds interest when there are a few blocks that are a little darker, lighter, brighter than the others. The trick is to have them spread around the quilt.

Thanks everyone for your comments on my quilt.

I have all my tops on a list and I had my daughter draw a number for me. She picked an antique quilt top that I had planned to hand quilt someday. I don't think someday will ever come, so I guess I will be quilting it later this week. I'm not really looking forward to quilting it, got to come up with a plan that will look good on an antique quilt, but one that won't take me days.

I finished 3 more LUS blocks this evening...one more to go to be ready to post the next assignment, but the one that is left has curved pieces and I've never done curved pieces.  Maybe I better go watch the Craftsy class that I bought a few months ago...I believe it was on curved pieces.

I'm not hurrying with the Round Robin, Jacy, I have no idea how to follow the rows that are on it now, going to take me some thinking time.

Love all the quilts that have been posted today. Love the birds, the fish, the star, did I miss anyone? I have been huddling under my electric throw blanket all day. Can't get warm. I shouldn't complain. Nancy's been without heat forever. I'm not out of heat, just cold. Hope I'm not getting sick.

Well, yes, I DID work on a quilt today.  A double-nine-patch to go with number one son to college in a couple of months.  New Year's Resolution (one of several) -- Quilt Every Day.  So far, so good!  Sometimes it's from 10pm to midnight, but hey, if it's either quilt or sleep -- I'll take quilt!
