Dear heavens , I haven't even made 50 quilt tops let alone have 50 stored for quilting!

I have to make some serious changes to my home life to get more sewing time. We seem to spend more and more time away from home doing a lot of things that are fun but it is cutting into the things I thought I would do once we retired.  I have lots to do here but DH seems to need activity and change to keep from getting bored. Problem is, most of the things he wants to do are really fun and I want to do them while we still can!  Everyone should have this problem.

Thanks, Mimi ! I could not get on the site because of  an error  message. However, I will go to the Moda site and see what I can find . The Dec. McCalls magazine had a quilt on the front done in Vin Du Jour,  just gorgeous , but way to big for me.    Susan

Susan, I had the same problem. If you copy Mimi's link and paste it to your address bar it should work.

Judy T-Bellingham:
My stack isn't nearly as large as Jacy's. I think I have 10 finished tops

Judy, that is a good thing, no-one should aspire to have a stack as large as mine.

I got my first one quilted and binding done, I'll post a photo later today.

Mz M, that is a wonderful quilt you made. I especially like that cheddar fabric, it adds just the right sparkle to it.

My DH needs a hobby.  He keeps coming up with all of these jobs for me to do and errands to run, and none of them have anything to do with quilting.  Then he has the nerve to ask me when I'm going to finish some of the quilting projects I have started that I really need to get done.  You just can't win with a retired DH underfoot all of the time.

Wow, Jacy, that's some pile.  I'm with you - my least favorite part is quilting.  I tell everyone I'm a piecer!

Here's my first 2014 finish. There's only one top in the queue waiting to be quilting. I am planning to layer that this coming weekend. By then I hope to have a second top finished. Just getting ready to do some really simple piecing, strips for rail fence blocks.

I started with two panels of eight blocks each, companion yardage of striped design fabric and the floral print from the same line. I generally don't like using fabrics exclusively from the same line but this one worked out to my satisfaction. I have a few batiks to add to the leftover fabrics to make another quite different design top though the green and burgundy blocks could be very similar.

My stack of tops now has one less!  Don't know why I procrastinate so long, it didn't even take a lot of time to do.

Beautiful job on the quilt agnes.  missed yours jacy but what others are talking about you've been busy.

I found time to move furniture so that my wall unit I use for displaying finished quilt is back in living room.  Now I just have to get myself back to finishing up a quilt that i'll be sending to relatives.

Beautiful Agnes, love those birds, and the swirl quilting is great, looks like swirling snow! I need to follow your example and quilt each quilt as I make it!

Un hun, like that's going to happen in either of our lifetimes. I used to have just one project going at a time and completed it before starting another.

I just bought some batting at Joann's which was 40% off and will quilt one quilt this week for certain, the Bonnie Hunter MQ from last year or the year before. Orca Bay I think.

This weekend I put the FM carriage together for my mid-arm machine.  I LOVE IT.  I'm doing some practice quilting and should be ready to FM a whole quilt top by the end of the week.  Yippie!  I should be able to get my small  UFO stack knocked out by the end of the month.  Wah-hoo.
