Good to hear from you, Eileen, and I'm glad that as we start 2014, you can get back to sewing!  Is your basement safe from any further flood damage, or will it always be at risk when you get those freaky storms?

Can't wait to see pictures of your quilted tops, Jacy!  I hope you won't end up regretting that you told us all that you're going to regularly work on them.   ;-)

Welcome back Eileen ! Ive been wondering what happened to you and how your damaged basement came out. Sorry about all the problems you were having, so glad its all behind you and a new year is here so you can start fresh. Im sure its quite a job putting every thing back and organizing your house. You must be excited to get your sewing room back again. I know I would be.     Susan

Judy T-Bellingham:

Jacy, what a colorful jumble of quilt tops. OK, I'm making a note on my calendar "Jacy will post one completed quilt a week for 50 weeks" LOL

Phew, I got started on the first one today. I'd better hustle now that Judy is cracking the whip. Keep it up Judy, I'll take all the motivation I can get!

Karla:

Jacy, my stack is almost as big.  As soon as I dig them all out, I'll post a picture too.

Karla, I'd love to see a photo of your stack. You should join us in the UFO group. We can help encourage each other to get them done.

Kelley:

Has anyone watched the MSQC tutorial on the Disappearing Pinwheel Block? I have been having a blast making these.

Kelley, thanks for the tip. That is a great qay to use up a layer cake and would be easy to do even if you just cut squares from your stash. I am going to remember this one. ok, I won't remember so I will have to make notes, LOL.

Jacy, all I can say is OMG. That is a lot of quilts. I think I have five not quilted. My goal is to quilt one a month. Today though I have to clean house and organize my sewing room so I can use it efficiently after work next week. I hope to see your quilted quilts once a week! That is noted in my calendar too.

I finished quilting a baby quilt yesterday. This morning I am sewing the binding on. A picture to follow. QCA is acting up again. It tells me that it can't access the site and yet it gets posted...

Kelley

This looks like a fun block to work with and I love your bright colors against the white.   I'll have to try this one.  I think it would be a quick, easy baby quilt block.  Thanks for sharing.

Kelley, thanks for these photos - I love your blocks! One of DH's nieces wants a pink & beige quilt & I bet this would be just perfect.  I'm so glad for all of you & the inspiration we find from each other.
