Carolyn the pillowcase and doll are so cute. I'm certain your 5year old will love it.

Karla:
Piecing is my favorite part, doing the quilting is another story all together.

Karla, I couldn't agree more.  just get frustrated with all the bulk when quilting, even a small one.  Piecing is like putting together a puzzle, fun!

Angele, I found the pattern in a book at a quilt store in Springfield. 2 weeks ago. They had one made up but none of the supplies!  I dropped in at Hobby Lobby and it was there. Too cute not to buy and 30% off. I'm using another black/white material for the main bag and fussy cut the other material for the pockets and lining also. I'll send a pic of the front of the book today and hoping to get the purse done today also.

As I am  packing to go visit my sons, this is the last thing I finished. It was for my friend's birthday in August but I just finished it. She says it feels like being wrapped in big hugs.

Then I finished these table runners.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to each and every one of you my quilting friends! I will be here for New year eve. May each of you be blessed with love, and especially good health.

These are great table runners!   And your friend's quilt is beautiful.  It is a terrific hug.
