didash:This quilt is a flannel top and I'm using a Minky-like backing. What would you bind it with?
I would bind it with the flannel. I think trying to bind with stretchy minky could be tough.
Lost points - frustrating - but definitely a common experience for newbies - and for some of us not-so-newbies. I know your husband will still enjoy snuggling under this flannel quilt!

I am working on a quilt for my old co-worker. She is going to retire this year. I need to have it finished by Friday. I hope I can get it done. will post a picture soon.
Did ash, with all the bulk you have, I would bind it in regular quilting cotton.

This is really Christmas cheery and festive. Happy Holidays to you as well. Will watch for the finished quilt for 2014.
This is quite an undertaking. They are all beautiful and I am sure will be treasured for years to come.
Congrats! I wish I could say the same but I'm really close
Very cute quilt Bev. Will watch for the finish next year.
Debbie, I love the stockings. They will be well loved over the years.
Bev, Your quilt is turning out great !!
I had to get mine done as they were gifts that I had to get to some friends -today. I got them all delivered and they were happy with them.
Some of you all will recall I made a quilt for a guy, and he did not want it. He did donate it like I requested, but I also discovered that one of his co-workers really wanted it...that made me feel good.
I will ask the co-worker if she wants me to make her one, I will as long as she pays me for the material and quilting of it- after I get the other ones I have to do this year done. Keeps me out of trouble.
