Thanks everybody....I couldn't get a good picture of it to save my life....then found out my batteries were dieing AFTER I uploaded it to the site at Mo. Star!

It really isn't as wrinkly, wonky in real life!

I finally got all caught up with my Loyal Union Sampler blocks.  Over the weekend I need to get 5 tops sandwiched so I can get them all quilted before Christmas.

Judy, I started making ornaments last year. I plan on making them every Christmas for each of my daughters, sons-in-law, and granddaughters, and my mother. I use them as gift tags. Last year my younger daughter and her now-husband had just moved into their first house. They had a tree for Christmas but it only had lights on it because they never got out to get ornaments. So their two quilted ornaments were the only ones on the tree last year!  I hope to be making them for lots more grandchildren in the coming years!

I have been working on a bazaar too.....

I like the fabrics in this one, and your cat/yarn applique is so clever!  I would like to make a quilt for our bazaar, but the gals tell me they don't sell well.  You've had better luck at yours?  We have lots of aprons, pillows, towels, and baby clothes.

Children's or baby quilts do sell well....aprons also. Mainly scarves and bags sell best.

Hi all...I'm finally finishing up MQ7 that was put on hold since we were living on a sailboat when the Mystery was running.  I'm getting ready to add the 2" border...

Since I've never done a quilt with this type of border (side and top "cross" in the corner), I thought I'd ask if there is a "correct" way of sewing these borders on.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance :)

Judy, your granddaughter's quilt looks great. I love the bear paw on it. She did a beautiful job. You both have reason to be proud.

This is a very happy quilt you made for your granddaughter Bonita. I'm sure there are many happy dreams happening in her world all snuggled under that blanket.

It looks like my sewing room too! I've been making and finishing quilts these past two weeks. Thankfully I'm sewing all weekend and hope to make a big dent in my baby quilt making...as I will be a great aunti next May! Foe the 14th time... :-)

Pam I really like both of your quilts but the Lovely Charms one with the cats appliqués on it is really neat. I love those playful kittens.

Well i finished repair job on clover cross quilt.  Washing it for the first time.  I hope the appliques hold up.  Been doing odd jobs around the house.

Still trying to catch up on the Loyal Union Soldier blocks...trying the foundation pieced ones today, but first I have to spend some time on YouTube to see what I'm supposed to be doing.

Well, back to work

I got MQ9 quilted and the binding got put on about 1:00am today. Yeah last Christmas quilt done.
