Angele, your Sand and Surf quilt is lovely, love the color combo.
Very nicely done, Kelley! Who's the lucky recipient?
Judy, your son will love his new quilt, love what you did with the borders!
Kelley, love your new project blocks, very interesting. What will they end up being?
Kelley Great dinosaur quilt. Your other quilt blocks look great too. Grecian Key?
Thanks Marie. I probably wouldn't have started it, if people on here hadn't shamed me into making him a new quilt. LOL I am really happy with it. Just doing a plain, all over meander quilting.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
The dinosaur quilt is perfect for a boy. My DGS would love it since he is heavily into dinosaurs.
I love the blocks. Are they all going to have a green theme?(my favorite color) What are you going to put them into?
I am so impressed with all the projects you get done. I am sitting in my sewing room watching football and working frantically on MQ9 so I can get my picture posted. I hope I can figure it out. I have never posted a picture before. Well there is a first time for everything.
This is a beautiful quilt. Your son should be so thankful for a mom like you. Even though he probably will not get rid of the first well loved quilt, this one will very likely be just as loved and used. I really like the border you have created. It looks like it really frames the beautiful colors and design.
Barbara in Colorado: I really like the border you have created
Thanks Barbara. I'm really pleased because, except for the narrow red border, everything came from my stash. I keep thinking my stash should be going down as I've been really focusing on using my current fabrics. But it hasn't! If anything it's has increased. I swear, my fabrics breed like bunnies while I'm asleep.
Thank you Weezee.
Angèle from NWO
Thanks Marsha! As I was cleaning my house today, I kept thinking about you and all you take on. It is not just how much you do in a day it is how much you tackle and succeed to finish. Some things I would not think of trying.
The dark colour is a very dark brown. As I looked at the picture I agree it does look black. I am honored that you would keep a picture to get ideas churning.
Ooooh! You know that is an offer I just can't resist! I will have to take you up on that after Christmas though.
Ginny I hope things are slowly getting better. Time and patience will get you to where you want to be.
Kelley I like your quilt.
