Elizabeth,

You're going to have kids beating down your door to have you make one for them. The butterfly one is just beautiful and the little accessories are so cute.

I've kind of been working on quilt related stuff. I'm making some postcards to mail to family and friends from the Oregon retreat.  Here are a couple of them. These are from fabric I picked up at a shop hop. The backs are below. I tried putting on regular binding but that was cumbersome and time consuming. So I'm just machine stitching around the edges.

I worked on a quilt today, preparing backing for my Butternut Nd Blue. I had three blocks that were sized wrong so I pieced them into a strp for the center of the back. Then I prepared fabric for one side. This is going to make you laugh, or groan, as in how stupid can you be. I trimmed off the selvege, forgetting that I had the fabric folded in forths lengthwise. So when I unfolded the fabric I had two pieces. Dang! So I had to sew it back together. When I did that, here it comes again! I had cut the length too short, so I had to add more fabric! The second side went a lot better. An hour job took me three!
