Thea, I knew it! I knew you would be unstoppable once the pain was under control.  I feel extremely lazy when I look at all the beautiful work you accomplished.  Thank you for the quilt show.  As for working on a quilt today? Sad to say no. It rained most of the day and I just felt exhausted from my week. I hope to sew tomorrow.

i hope you will continue to inspire us Thea with your quilts.

Nancy I would love your tomato soup recipe. I'm not a good soup maker but I would love to try that.

Thea, loved your quilt show. I'm so happy that you are feeling so much better.

No quilting for me today. I drove 2 1/2 hours in the rain to watch my grandson play football in the rain. At least his team did win. Then we stopped at my youngest DD's house for dinner and didn't get home until 11pm. Almost ran over 3deer and a donkey! An eventful day.

Had a busy week with company from Ohio. She brought 6 quilts.  I started on them last Sunday.  I didn't get pics of 2 of the quilts though. She has to send me those.

Also, I'm wondering if everyone else takes about 2 days to do a custom quilt? The one I stippled I worked the 2nd day until 9 that night.  I could of used 3 days for it but was on a time crunch since the were leaving today. Is this normal to take a couple of days or am I slow? I do need a little rest once in a while and it takes a bit of thinking to get me started on one. Also, had to fix meals for the 4 of us and keep the laundry going LOL.  I meandered the t-shirt quilt and 2 others and one I did a pantograph. Still a beginner so don't look too hard.

Those are beautiful quilts, Ramona, and the quilting looks great to me.  I sure wish I had the room and the money for a long arm, my mid arm on a frame is hard to do anything but all over stippling or meandering, the harp space just isn't big enough.

Ramona - the quilts are beautiful and your quilting looks great.

As for doing custom quilts - I have never done one. I generally do not do any quilts other than my own. But it takes me two days to do small stippling on a quilt - so I would say compared to me you are not slow at all - lol!! My throat on my voyager is only 17" and with an L size bobbin I am always changing them which slows me down even more

Karla,

I absolutely love my machine!  When my husband retired that was his first priority other than bldg me a 900 sq ft building to do my quilting in. No, we don't have a lot of money but we have managed to work it out. The building we built slowly over a couple of years out of pocket.  I wish I had could use my machine more.

Thanks for the kind remarks.
