Nancy--Thanks. For you to see me in the hat I have to chase someone down with my camera. I had an aha moment this morning to actually get a decent photo.

thanks all for compliments on the wall hanging. Beautiful Hat! My favorite color and all....

I am having fun with the angle play rulers (templates) I got in that class (just2-all of them cost $75....not THAT much fun!).

Am going to try striped fabrics next as it adds a dimension to it. We'll see....maybe too much dimension....

Sure looking forward to meeting some of you ladies at Oregon retreat!

Thanks, everyone, for the comments on the Quilt Shop. I had fun making it. I think I'll have even more fun making the golf village!

I love everyone else's work. You all are such an inspiration to me. Thanks so much for posting your work.

I tried marinara sauce on spaghetti squash-YUK never again.  It is just too watery and blah.

MNnancy:
Are there ways to prepare the squash that would draw the moisture out?

Ginny - did you drain it after pulling the strains?  I usually drain it and then not so watery.  I add spices to my marinara and love spaghetti squash, very rarely make regular spaghetti anymore.

I have missed so much the last few days - still feeling yucky from a sinus problem. What I saw, when trying to catch up, the hat,, the wallhangings (the Witch is really cute and the Angled Wallhanging is really neat) The Boot applique as well as the Quilt Shop are all great.

I finally got into the sewing room today and put together the final blocks for the Blue sparklie wallhanging. I have already begun sewing it together. I hate Y Seams and there will be a few in this one. Will just take my time and do it right. I will post a picture when it is all together. Already thinking about how to quilt it - I am thinking Stitch in the Ditch.

I still have my fabric for the MQ9 - just need to tackle it Maybe tomorrow ....

Angele, love the fabrics and pattern. It's lovely. Is it made with quilters flannel?
