Weezee, I love your boot, it looks very real.
I have a flip-flop quilt hanging in my mud room, I keep thinking I need to make another quilt with boots or something to hang in the winter time.
MNnancy:Great boot! So you are going to make all three boots in different designs?
Just one boot design. I used one of his boots to make this block. Next will be swords or bow and arrows, cowboy hat, ninja stuff? I'm still thinking about what to do . His quilt is all the things he likes or has liked up to now. was going to be black and red, because that was his favorite colors, last month he informed me his favorite color now is BLUE. It will have fabrics with Spiderman, Batman, Hulk, Superman, Ironman and more. I want to make it for Christmas, all my DK's and DGK's are getting quilts this year.
Jacy:I have a flip-flop quilt hanging in my mud room,
I should make me a flip-flop quilt, I wear mine until the snow starts to fly.
Ok... here is my witch...lol.. had fun making this one..
Kelley, How cute. Ginny
Super cute, Kelley.
Weezee, I like your boot design, can't wait to see all the other blocks you design. The quilt will be amazing, lucky GK!
Absolutely love your witch, Kelley!
Kelly you're witch is so cute.
Weezee, love the boot.
That's beautiful! I love it! I just did12 boots for my son with embroidery. It was a program so only had to put the material down when the machine stopped! Each one was different and had different batik materials for the shaft of the boots. Then different decorative stitching on the shaft. It was fun making the blocks. I'll try to post pics when we get to a stopping place on our vacation.
I didn't work on a quilt over the weekend but I did embroider a Quilt Shop out of the OESD Christmas Village collection. Anyway, I thought I would share.
Roxana, your quilt shop is beautiful! Nice work!
Thanks, Marie. My husband and I own a Golf Repair Store and I'm going to make the same village out of "stone" satins to resemble the Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland so he can put it up in the shop. It will be quite a challenge but a lot more fun than the all white version I will do for the Quilt SHop where I work part time. I'll post pictures if I ever get it going. For example, the Quilt SHop will change to the name of our Golf SHop (even though it is in Arkansas and not Scotland!).
The quilt shop is awesome! The golf shop would be a cute idea!
I took a class at NW Quilt Expo on Friday. Margaret Miller taught the class on her angle play rulers and we did this pattern- I got the wall hanging top done today...
