Here is the baby quilt. Finished the quilting yesterday. A lot of my time has been taken up with doctor visits for hubby and therapy so I haven't been able to get in much quilting time.  Thank the Lord we are almost finished with all that. We have company coming in tomorrow for two weeks and she's bringing several quilts to be quilted. I still need to get the binding on but  I do hope to put this baby quilt in the quilt show this weekend.  I think our new grand daughter, Audrey, will like it.

Thanks girls for your help. Gini, I was careful about doing the one way and it worked out.

Ramona you did such a great job. I love the pictures.

I am so proud of myself. I have watched a tutorial on paper piecing over and over again. I still did not get it. Today while I was working on a quilt border, I finally got it. Although I had to watch it about 5 times to get one block done. I did it!. It all makes sense to me now. Yipee!!!

Unfortunately I did not get to sew today...doctor appointment this morning.  He was rather upset with my cholesterol and triglyceride levels.  Changed my medication and gave me a long lecture about what I could and could not eat....no more cheese, pasta, bread, red meat (unless it is very lean), and no more Diet Pepsi or  chocolate!  That was the final blow, Diet Pepsi, chocolate and red meat are what I live on.

After that letdown, I had bags of tomatoes to get canned...tomorrow I still need to make salsa, and I've got cucumbers and bell peppers taking over the kitchen and the refrigerator.  And tomorrow afternoon it is DGS1's football game.  At least it is a home game this week, so no traveling.

I think I might do some HST's for MQ9 tonight before I go to bed, but I just got home from the other boys TaeKwonDo class and I really just want to veg the rest of the night.

And Ramona, that baby quilt is just beautiful!
