I went to the quilt show in Wisc. last weekend and made this recently. From the following book that I bought at show. The last picture is what I'm working on next.

I cut the fabric for Mystery Quilt #9 and have most of the lines drawn on light fabric for the HST.

Finally finished the pieced blocks of Patchwork Party 2007.  I bought these unfinished from someone here on the forum.  Now I'm starting the embroidered blocks that go along with these.

Kelly - really like your table runner and wall hanging, the frog does have personality!

Christine - that will be  a pretty  pretty quilt - really like the fabric chosen.

I did not spend much time on the computer the last five days. Had a friend visit with her first quilt. She had purchased a small jelly roll from Joanns og solid blues and aquas and had put together her version of a 1600 quilt. She was not careful to put the raw edger together so we had to do a bit of emergency surgery on it to flatten it out. While we were at it, we even put a larger strip of an Aqua print as well as borders. She will return in a few weeks wit a backing and we will quilt it.

Today, I have to get my $5 BOM done - it is due Wednesday - lol - nothing like waiting for the last minute.

Kelley:

I went to the quilt show in Wisc. last weekend

Cute frog, Kelley!  Did you enjoy the Nancy Zieman Quilt Expo?  Was all that stacked fabric in your picture purchased that weekend?

Wow Kelley, you bought something and immediately came home to try it out, I am impressed.  Usually, I wait until I have whatever is on my sewing table to finish 1st and then forget how to do what I bought.  Like the fall color, or Halloween, table runner and love the frog.     Ginny

Kelley, nice table runner and I love, love your frog!  I think I need to get that book, does the template come with it?  Is the frog also in that book?

Angele,

Thank you and thank you so much for the information!! That thought of throwing off the quilt didn't occur to me. The little squares are only 1 1/2 inches to I'm thinking both directions would be too much quilting. Maybe if I make sure to go up one and  then down the next and not do them all the same direction would that work? And then to be sure I do the borders first to help stabilize? I'll give it a try and see how it goes. Thanks again!!
