Betty, May I ask what fabric line your using. The blues with metallic accents. My sister wants a blue quilt for christmas. I'm having trouble finding the glittery ones.  Thank you

I have been working on the kits that I am taking to Oregon.   I have all the outhouses fused to their backgrounds and now I am working on the fabrics for the setting squares.    Next I need to work on the squares to go around a center panel.   Both of these quilts will be Christmas gifts.  I have also cut out all the strips to make a graduation quilt that has been on the back burner for awhile now.

Nana, we have had a year to prepare and I don't think I am anywhere near ready.   Well, emotionally I was ready months ago.   It's just the logistics and packing.

zoetc49:
Here is the small wall quilt I am working on. The center star is my first paper piecing I have done. I have made this for a 14 year old boy, who I am sure will think nothing of it...lol

Zoetc49 - what a great job you did - it looks fantastic!

I'm going to round up some UFO's to bring. I'm not planning on starting any new projects.

Marla -  I first bought my fabric at Web Fabrics as I was down in VA visiting and didn't look at the makers, but I just found some more of it at Fat quarter shop. Most of it was Midnight Plume the rest I will look at the selvages later today when I get upstairs. Here is at least one link to the fabric line. I used only silver sparklie fabric - as I think I like it better than gold on blue.

Marla - the other fabrics were

Kanvas Frost designed by Maria Kalinowski for Bernatex

I used Scotch Pine, Winter Pin and Starburst. Hope this helps

I have been working on a bag, for a gift.  It was going well until I cut 2 1/2 inches instead of 2 1/4.  So I will make the bag 1/4 inch shorter.  But first I will have to take off and move the pockts up 1/4 inch and sew them in again.  Phooey.
