Elaine Phillips:

I did work on a quilt today. I finished this piece for a color and design class I have been taking. It is a study in temperature. I quilted it myself.

Elaine, I love the quilt for your color and design class. Is this a class your LQS is offering? What a fantastic opportunity!

Thanks everyone for your comments about my MQ6.  Today I did get Marge's quilt loaded on the frame, but still need to decide how to quilt it.  I only have a midarm so I mostly do an all over design.  I need to get to the LQS because I'm previewed some thread choices for the quilting, and the one that I like the best I don't have enough of to do the quilt.

Karla, your MQ6 is gorgeous, love it!

Elaine, your quilt is awesome!  Love how you quilted it!

Betty, your B&W sparklie blocks are beautiful!  Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

MNnancy:

Bev :
I agree my "deer" look like big dogs so I am laughing also.

Oh, I'm glad you're laughing because I was afraid what I said could be taken the wrong way. Your reindeer will look exactly like the ones in the original once you have those antlers on.  I think what the original designer left off is the reindeer's tail.

MNnancy, Everyone that has seen my "quilt in progress" only sees dogs and yes I am still laughing.  I have to thank you for the picture though because it has given me some ideas on changing the deer quilt blocks if I don't like them when I get the antlers on. Maybe I will be naming my reindeer Dancer, Prance Comet and Cupid, you get the idea. lol  I also noticed the lack of a tail and was thinking on adding them somehow. Appliqué is new to me be it needle turn or iron on.

Karla, you did a beautiful job on your MQ. My DGD wants to know where are the feet? A lot of quilts posted show the holders feet and now she looks for them.
