They are gorgeous, Pam!  Love the little kitty on the dock!  Beautiful colors on the circle quilt!

Those are great quilts Pam, congratulations on your ribbons.

Did you have a photo or a picture to make you landscape quilt from?

Thank you again, everyone.

No, I just start making a picture and then I edit, edit, edit, add, edit again. My husband says every time he comes in my sewing room there is a different scene! Hhaha....but true I guess.

For those who missed the turtle- don't eel bad as one of the judges didn't see him either!

Most folks miss the tent, and red canoe campsite.

Here are the curtains I made. I have a small home and I use the area where my kitchen table is to sew. To the back of that is my kitchen which is green, and the living room is in front of that and I have Blue. These curtains pull in all the colors and now give the whole area a warmth to the space. I have never made curtains before, and to top it off I got shorted fabric on one bolt and so I had to add the green and brown, but this was a blessing too as I wanted to raise the rods, so that turned out great!

Now I can get back to my quilt projects.

Pam, these are so beautiful.  Is that a scene from a cabin you have?

Started quilting a scrappy star quilt. Trying to think of a name for it. I'm also sewing binding to 2 other quilts also trying to think of a name for one of them. Yesterday I started one of my Navajo quilts. Got 3 blocks made plus 3 of each block. 1 more block to go....the blocks are huge.

Pam, your landscape quilt is awesome! Like nancy, I'm in awe. The other one is great too. Well deserving of the ribbons.

My 30-year-old fake leather fanny pack, beloved mini purse for craft fairs, quilt shows, and the like, finally wore out.  I don't care that they are totally out-of-style, I miss mine!  So, I made this mini purse in which the wrist strap can be attached to a belt loop and used hands-free.  It should be big enough for my cell phone, credit card, and a little cash.

The pattern is "Susie's Sack" published by This & That.

On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
